I don't know if anyone will have an answer to this or not...As some of you know, I had quite the car accident a couple of weeks ago and suffered some scary eye trauma. I've had a couple of follow up visits with my ophthalmologist and he says I'm healing well. However, over the past couple of days I've started getting an occasional pinpoint yellow light dashing across the extreme outside of my vision. It's not constant, but several times a day. I remember Dr. Max saying to look out for flashing lights and such, but I don't know if this is what he's talking about. I'm out of town and won't be back to see the Dr. Max until Tuesday. In the meantime, I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this or knows what it might be.Basically, should I be worrying?

Light in my eye

It sounds like a phosphene, but I don't know what it means.

The description given in that article sounds possibly close, but none of the causes fit.It may be nothing. Doc says I'm doing fine, but I can't escape the fear that there will be lasting damage.I'll feel better when I see Dr. Max on Tuesday.

Well, could you call your doc? I know your going out of town but a call might ease you while your gone.
I get flashes, never thought anything of them until now....I always just said they were ghosts or something.
