Okay...not brand new. But you-know-what-I-mean new. This is it: Mazda 626 It's a great car. '98 Mazda 626. Kind of pearly red with tan leather interior. It's impeccably clean. And has a sweet Mazda Bose sound system to boot. Drove it home from Glasgow and then to Louisville and back and it drives and rides like a dream. And I was able to get it for what the insurance co. paid me for my Nissan God rest its soul with $200 left over!Woot!

The 626 sint too bad.I dont knwo about saftey ratings or what not, but Iv raced a few. They kept up accross the light but not past it, and even having first throttle they never managed to pass me when i didnt want them to on the freeway adn hiway.Look nice, now use it to your advantage and go get some ass, break that car in and make it smell like sex. Just wipe the pecker tracks off the seat when your done.

Nice car man few questions though:Any plans for the car?? Modifications, and the like. (I'm a car guy so it's in my blood to question these things hehe)Most importantly: MANual, or CHICKmatic?
-
do they still make manual?
I swear to shit, I havent seen a manual with out buying atlest 10 years old.
I was recently driving a fucking corvette, and ti was a automatic. people can no longer think for themselves and work two pedals at the same time, its all auto now. I thought the sports cars would always have a stick, I nearly cried when I saw that auto was standard on the vette now. -
lol yeah man they do. My 03 is a manual. You're right about the vette though, thanks be to allah that you can get the manual on the vette, but it does come standard with the paddle shifters. That makes me mad too. Sports cars are about feeling the drive. Not relaxing and enjoying the scenery (though that is part of it). I wish more people drove manuals. Then I wouldn't have to find one or two friends to drive me when I've been up all night.
-
im only just learning how to drive. i have an automatic. its good to learn on, even though once i get my actual license and my and my boyfriend decide to get a new(er) car, i'd like to try a standard.my boyfriends sister and her girlfriend have a standard. they love it too :P
-
Get some! That's what I'm talking about. Few things are hotter than a girl who can shift Auto's are fine to learn on. But if you can master manual, you can pretty much drive any car in the world...and bike
-
Quote:But if you can master manual, you can pretty much drive any car in the world...and bike :)Nods in agreement. My daughter is learning on a manual...and been doing pretty darned good at it...though, she still needs to watch better for the ranch kitties. Good thing she isn't old enough to let out on the real roads.
-
Good deal! Glad to hear she's taken an interest in learning the diversity of three footed driving. Keep one foot on the gas, one foot on the brake, and one foot on the clutch
-
ROTF! She had little choice in the matter...If she wanted to learn on one of MY cars (before she buys her own) she got stuck with the three footed one..Besides, she wants a truck, and trucks aren't trucks without a stick! (I still don't trust the shift on the fly 4x either so 2 sicks is better)...

A Corvette does not come standard with an automatic. It a $1250.00 dollar waste of mon... sorry, option. Who ever told you that doesn't know what the fuck their talking about. Personally I don't know why it would even be an option on such a car, but that's just my prejudice. I think the movement toward automatics has to do with how passive people have become in all aspects of their lives. They don't want to participate or experience they just want to watch and live vicariously... sad.I'm looking at trading off my gas guzzling SRT-8 when the '08 Corvettes come out. 28 miles to the gallon on a standard transmission and 0-60 in... what was it 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph. How can you beat that?
