Have you ever wondered why a woman can be (full frontal) nude in a film and it's no big deal, but if I man does it, it's a big controversy?I asked a few people about this and they're response was "because I don't want to see a guy's schlong". Is that the common feeling -- that it's gay for men to look at another man but not for a woman to look at another woman?A body is a body...why is a man's body evil and a woman's not?

Why the double standard?

My take is that you do not see the genetalia of the woman while you obviously do for a man, in addition to what to what albeit said.

I have to disagree with your about the aesthetic appeal of male and female body parts. The penis can be a beautiful thing, and some breasts I wouldn't want to look at (such as an elderly woman...gross).The reason I bought this up was because there was recently a big ruckus about Ewan McGregor showing his privates in a film he recently did and they demanded that that scene had to be removed or the film couldn't be shown here. And I think that the same thing is happening with Colin Ferrel right now. I am not saying I want to see their penises, but a human body is a human body, attractive or not. We all have them and I think for the most part, everyone's seen the naked body of either sex at sometime in their lives. Now some people are lobbying for it to be legal for women to be topless in public, saying it's a double standard (it is actually legal in New York for a woman to go topless, although most people don't know that). Should women be allowed to be topless? Or should men be required to cover up? I've seen a lot of men that really ought to leave their shirts on...

lol - I thought it was because a woman's body is so beautiful. Dammit, who wants to see a big ass cock hanging around with two nasty, wrinkled old balls?

What if it's a tiny little prick?

Oooo, an interesting debate on the aesthetics of the penis... That's a very hard nut to crack (pardon my pun.) For example, many people find abstract art to be a beautiful free form of expression, yet many other think it doesn't take much talent to splash paint on a canvas. Then there is Picaso with the angular and cubic representation objects and people. Or Dali who liked to make everything melt... So it is with people. Some people find breasts VERY offensive and vulgar to look at, while some find them pleasing to the eye and, again, others find them arousing. Vaginas are the same, some are very aesthetically beautiful, sleek and sexy... And others are very awful to view... And the penis... ahhh the penis, why is it the penis get's such bad reviews? Ugly? Just a length of skin... Don't forget the testicals... I think it's very bad to just cancel out the penis' aesthetic beauty outright, simply because it's a penis. I happen to be a big fan of the penis, since i own one and find it very useful. Do I want to see one on screen? I don't really care. I don't mind. And I'm a hetrosexual male, not a homosexual that gets off on it (not to say that it's wrong to get off on it, or to be homosexual.)My opinion? What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Let's not just blur the line but completely erase it. I'll tell you right now why i think we're all afraid of it... Women, when you are growing up you are taught to stay away from penis' and to not view a man's naked body because it's perverted and wrong. Only degenerates do it. And while you may not have been told that directly, it is often inferred... And men. You're guilty of homophobia, because, after all of you look at a mans naked body, especially his dick... oh my, you better just start wearing pink and liking showtunes. Let's get passed the barriers! Let's drop the insecurities! AHHH!!! ok i'm done..: theatre_actor :.
