theres a new feature now??? thats pretty cool. when did this happen? or am i completely stupid and its been there for a while??
-
Online/offline???
-
I don't like it.. I think it makes each post take up more of the screen now..Moods??? sighDoes anyone else get a bunch of text superimposed on teh screen when you pass your mouse over a name in the "Who's Online" screen? What about the doubled button/link for reply, edit etc... Does anyone else get that?
-
mine will always be offline........ my mood is dead. (the offline smilie)i dk.. it's kinda cool. but how many people are acually really going to be wut the smilie says?....lol
-
My double button is gone now,but I didn't get it either. It actually kind of bothered me.And...'); //-->that thing is at the top left of my screen always,It was there before the changedoes anyone else have that?
-
\> but how many people are acually really going to be wut the smilie says?
You can change it in the top right corner next to Log Out -
IDK.. I still have an edit button and then an edit link to the right of it, reply button, reply link, etc...
-
Me too, the double link is there for me. It would be nice if you had the option to turn off the mood and the online/offline status. If I want to know if someone is online, I'll just look at the screen on the left. The most annoying part of it is that about 99% of active members are offline at any one time, so you just have lots and lots of Offline statuses staring at you.
-
I checked. There is no option that I could see. Also many regulars remain hidden, hence offline... Ineligible and I can see them when they are here, but no one else can.
-
Yeah, I usually have my setting set to hidden but I changed it earlier today. Of course I didn't realise that everyone would be able to see me so obviously, I'll probably change it back.
-
I have those double links too, but I don't get anything on mouse-overing the Who's Online.Edit: Yes I do, but only on the "details" page. Since the text that comes up, though difficult to read, includes poster's operating system and referrer page etc, I hope not everyone gets it.
-
That appears to be just a Mod/Admin feature.
-
Mmmm... I don't think the IP's are showing, at least not for me.. The standard IP display is there but not as a part of the overlayed text.
-
I just realised that and edited it out. There's a different IP, whose meaning I don't know.
-
I logged in as an old user and checked it out. Apparently only you and I see it (Mods..idk).. but it shows the browser, OS and other apps that the person is using.
-
Interestingly, I'm no longer seeing the Edit, Reply, etc buttons; only the links.
-
Same here... Strange.

Those buttons like "Reply,Quote,Edit" and such are double link.It shows the button and also the hyper-linked text.
-
Uhhh yeah I know.
-
I don't like it.. if people have chosen to not be displayed in the online/offline screen, why should they be forced to appear online/offline in their posts?
