Hello everyone. For some reason it's kind of been a dream to move out with my friend(s), in the city, after high school was done. It's probably because my oldest sister moved out to NY because of school and now lives there with 3 room mates. Now the case has changed with me having my girlfriend. In most cases it would be the GF who would live somewhere else and we would stay/come over to eachothers apartment. Would it be awkward with me living in a apartment with a friend or two and her? I never talked about this idea with my GF and friends, but either way she doesn't like her family so she wants out soon. Thanks for your comments!

I've lived with couples before, it's okay so long as it's not just you and the couple. Just be considerate of your housemates, they don't want to see you being lovedovey all the time, and be quiet when in the bedroom!
Also, understand that single people tend to be louder than couples. Single people as a rule generally enjoy going out, partying, drinking and socializing more than who are taken. Especially just after they get out of home and earn that freedom.
Just be wary of who you live with in general, look closely at their rooms, whether they clean up after themselves, if they're selfish, etc. I've seen it ruin many friendships, and it's nearly ruined one of mine.

Keep your stuff (expensive belongings, food, etc.) locked up and money hidden. I've had roommates. Everybody's a thief.

Great points. I surely wouldn't want to lose a friend. Yeah, my friends are really into drinking now that school's done. I got drunk with my GF once. She got sick and puked while I had to clean it up with paper towels I believe she would do the same for me

Big jay, you're right about everyone having the feeling of "want" when they see something nice or green. I'd probably make sure it's only us that has a copy of our room's key and that money isn't just out and about.
