A long time ago, I had a very disturbing dream.I was opening my freezer, and I heard a womans voice, she claimed to be God. he/she said I was going die in four years and go to to Hell for all the sins I committed. The next day I had a dream that I was going down a hill on a bus and crashed.I grew up Catholic, but now I don't know.I can't do anything without thinking about this, HELP ME PLEASE!
Death date in a dream!?
You have to learn to let this dream go. Dreams are just images, they are not real. If they were, I'd died a million crazy deaths by now.You shouldn't waste your life worrying about what's going to happen in the end. Death is inevitable and unpredictable. That is why you should live your live each of your days to the fullest.
i have a hard thim wiht dreams.. over the years i been told the same thing abotu them tho. i been told there from ur ..crap i forgot the word! well there from feeling u have hidden way deep within you. maybe so hidden you don't relise u have them... and then other dreams are just that. dreams. NOw it's telling wtf is a fear or just a odd dream.....
i've had dreams dealling wiht death not only for me but for freads. one of the most scarrist involved me and paul (aka diver) but it wasn;t a death dream. he shaved my head ....and when i say head i don;t mean just my hair of. i mean he shaved my skinn off. and i woke up screaming with a head ace.
HE was in a death dream i had too.. it happed years back tho but it's one of those i just can't forget. i think the reson i can;t forget them (like i have some) is that they must have a reson..liek that hidden fear thing. idk.. but paul was beign squized and smutherd by a hudge ass snake. alot of my dreams involve those fuckers... one of my old thepist thought that the snake repesents my abuser.. and cuz of the dreams and the connection i have a snake phobia.
one of the worst nightmares i have had..... my abuser sloughtered every one and every thing... she killed our parents, siblings, my cats, dog, and horses... then she came after me with the same knife.
my therpist i just recently changed from put me on sleeping meds cuz it got to the point i would not go to sleep at night.
i've had those reaslitic dreams too. those tho (for me) are never death dreams... but just as bad.
i dk if i can help really...i dk. ihave to have help figuring out soem of my dreams too. all i can think is that u growing up catholic may be somthing to do with having the God / Hell dream could.
Dreams are merely the unconscious mind communicating with the conscious mind, more than likely working to build long term memories in way that is not yet understood.
For myself, since the dream is totally internal and completely the invention of the dreamer, I hold, that any and everything in the dream can be examined in the manner of what does the object, action, person or place mean to you and thus the cause,_**if any at all**_, of the dream can be revealed. More often than not, with the exception of reoccurring, disturbing dreams, I don't think they're worth the time or energy it takes to interpret them.
If you wanna buy into all the metaphysical, theological train of thought about dreams ask yourself this, "What point would god have in telling me when and how I'm gonna die?" --- Answer, there is no point, beside god doesn't seem to have much of a, if any, track record of revealing such things.
If you believe this dream to have some theological significance, **_which I don't_**, logic would seem to suggest that the intellect that delivered this message is more one of malevolence that benevolence and it's only aim, to frighten you. So by that logic it's something to be ignored and dismissed as the rubbish it is.
Either way you wanna look at it's not worth the worry and time your putting into it. Forget it and go on with your life.
yeh i agree with everyone else, dreams are to do with your subconscious or something along those lines, i get reallllllllly weird dreams that are so so so so so strange!
i allways find it hard to understand dreams, like why did i dream that?? as most of the time, its not even real stuff...haha!
but isnt it bad if you dont dream?.... or is it that everyone dreams, just a question of remembering them in the morning?
I think dreams tend to be fairly random imaginative pieces produced by the lower brain. They are often based, though, on deep-seated thoughts or fears or hopes or perceptions. When we are feeling bad, dreams are often based on fears, and I think that's what yours indicate - that you are afraid of death and Hell.
On my theory the details are purely imaginative fiction and mean nothing.
Oh my goodness, i'm so relieved... Thank you all, really, and it's true the only two things i'm really afraid of are Death and Hell...
Well.. i had a scary ass dream once too.. it was brutal.. scary.. and sooo real.. considering i had the dream when i was 10ish... and the place the dream took place in is right near my new house. What i learned. Dont drive a green truckWhat you learn. Dont ride buses
I had a dream once me and my mom were driving, and there was a van in front of us, all of a sudden the van sped up made a u-turn so it was facing us, and the driver pulled out a gun and shot my mom and then me, it took me a long time to get over that dream. Sometimes dreams are so scary thats all you can do is think about them. But eventually you get over them. just remember they are just dreams.

I agree with all of this, Pete.
Also, I've heard that when people have extremely traumatic events, you might have re-occuring dreams about that events (mostly nightmares).
