Will this get me into shape?
-
If you do it.
-
Actually that seems like a lot for one day. I would burn out or be so sore, I might not work out again. Sounds great though if you can pull it off, more power to you.
-
You will definately lose weight and become fitter, but you'll gain no muscle mass. To gain muscle mass you need to lift heavy, heavy weights. The kind you can only lift 8-10 times before dropping them.
-
Thats not true... You can gain muscle from Aerobic exercise, yoga, as well as lifting. Lifting isn't the only way to gain muscle, it's just the most obvious.
-
Only if you're severely lacking in muscle to begin with, in which case your own body weight is considered a heavy weight. Do all the yoga you want, you'll never become big, if anything, you'll become slimmer and leaner.

Its not so much that i want to look like a body builder i just want to be in shape and be firm/hard i dont want my muscles to be soft
