Lucy's Ancestors might have been found!

Sow hat does that mean?

Missing link
-
oh I did research on this stuff. It's kind of funny.

Quote: It's kind of funny.Funny? Funny how? Like, you think its clown funny? It amuses you? It makes you laugh, its here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How is it funny?

Abi's right. But when you take a look at what the scientists who discovered Lucy did to try and prove that Lucy was something that she wasn't, it's actually sad. What's funny is the speed at which some folks willingly latch onto something they erroneously think might prove we evolved according to natural selection. I didn't say Darwin because Darwin himself never proved anything. In fact, after studying over 3,000 species he admitted he never found one in the _process_ of evolving. The process is the key...the real missing link. And scientists know it.

You're on a movie watching frenzy, arentcha?Joe Pesci in a gangster movie... I know it's not casino... Good Fellas?
-
No...that's natural selection. Only the males with the antibody (or whatever it was) survived. Evolution calls for radical change in DNA...which is something else entirely. Can you imagine an oyster turning into a lizard in order to avoid a disease? As for the butterfly, scientist are currently assuming it was some kind of surpressor gene...but they don't yet know for sure. And unless they had previously mapped the entire genome of each butterfly, there's no way they can know that the gene did not already exist in the butterflies that survived. Testing is still going on. I imagine this one will be watched a little more closely after all the shenanigans scientists trying to prove evolution have tried to pull in the past. Just because the media likes to call it evolution (for the sake of hype) doesn't make it evolution.
-
You realize that Evolution is only small adaptions over a LONG period of time right?

Do you realize that what you state is not what the historical evidence suggests. The evidence shows that evolution takes place in great leaps...not tiny steps. This is why scientists out to prove the "natural selection" process of evolution are always furiously running around trying to find a "missing link". This, because natural selection (if it were truly a part of evolution) would take place in tiny steps...not leaps. And with every "link" found, the steps between each evolved state get a little smaller. Problem is scientists haven't exactly found many missing links, if any. Lucy turned out to be "doctored up" by the scientists to conform to a missing link, but in reality she was a dead-end.

promised myself and a friend on here I wouldnt get into these duscussions any more**beats head on wall at your ignorance

Your correct, is good fellas, a bar scene with ray leota right before he shoots the kid inthe foot only to later kill him.
-
Ari never stops laughing at that part, it's kinda creepy.Great movie, though.

Joe Pesci was born to play evil men.And Thor, prove to me that evolution doesn't exist. I don't care what your alternative is, I'm not asking for that, I want you to prove to me without a shadow of a doubt that evolution is impossible. And I mean real evolution, not the "an oyster turning into a lizard in order to avoid a disease" shite that you just invented.Or you could ignore me as you often do, holding strong your belief that your few years on me make you a smarter and wiser man in almost every topic.

See even though I'm a Christian I do believe in Evolution... to a point. I certainly do not feel humans come from apes, but as for the instance of a butterfly being able to over time create an antibody to fight against a disease that’s wiping out it's species I do believe in. I feel as an environment changes the species in that environment will also need to change or become extinct. On a Christianity stand point I don’t understand why many Christians are against the theory of Evolution. Who is to say this is not something God himself created within each species as a survival instinct? Just a thought…

(In all honesty, there is absolutely no negative feeling in this post at all!)Do you believe that humans evolved at all? Or did the whole world evolve for billions of years and then, when the time was right, God threw us into the mix?
-
I laugh at that part!whats so creepy abuot it?Iv seen the exorscist 137 times and it keeps getting funnier every time I see it !Its a great flick.I suggest you now go get the departed, and lucky number slevin and watch them with Ari. Get Boondock saints as well, I dare him to not laugh at the conversation with Rockos girlfriend over the cat. I dare anyone to not laugh at that !Oh, and when Rockos boss tells someone over the phone they are an insignifa-CUNT. That made me laugh and shoot coke out my nose.
-
Honestly I believe god created the earth and when the time was right, yes he than created us humans in his image. That's just my belief though, I know there are people who strongly believe we come from Apes and I respect that, I just simply don't believe it.

We have lucky number slevin, one of our favorite movies. Departed though we dont... Ill get the safeway slave to pick it up on her way home tomorrow.
