The last several times ive engaged in sexual activity with my partner i was unable to ejaculate. i was really turned on and loving the sensation but after a long period of sexual activity i wasnt even close. i dont think the situation is mental in any way because i was very aroused.

Problems ejaculating

Even if you were very aroused you may still have been a bit tense. Can you ejaculate by masturbation as normal? Have you been able to ejaculate with your partner before?

ejaculation by masterbating is fine it just takes a long time. usually with masterbation i can ejaculate whenever but sometimes i have to work it a bit harder. in the past i ejaculated with my partner just fine but it has been an issue for a few weeks

im only 21 so i feel like this shouldnt be an issue and im pretty concerned

I agree with Radeckl. Our hormone levels vary a bit - there's even a sort of irregular male menstrual cycle - and that can mean you can have a time when your hormones are just a bit low. Perhaps also you may be stressed about something, and you don't perform as expected, and then you worry about it. It will pass. The only external possible influence I can think of is if you went on medication recently. Some antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications can make it harder to reach orgasm.

im guessing its a mental stress thing, because it didnt happen for a while and recently has been happening again. its embarassing and only makes the situation worse the next time when i feel pressured. i think im just having trouble focusing on whats going on, instead im thinking about what to do and how i look etc. i cant get out of my own head, even though i know its a problem i just cant seem to focus! even when it feels great i feel like im spectating!
