Ok, this is going to be sort of long , maybe a bit confusing but just bear with me...I've had sex with as many as 8 women, after having sex with 5 of the women over I got tested for STD's just to be safe . All the test came back negative(HIV and other more common stds). Just to note... I waited 5 months to get the HIV test.(Window period)Anyway, a month after the testing (July 06) I had sex again with another girl (unprotected) so sometime from the time of July to October of 06 I noticed a slight burning in my penis; didn't matter If I peed or not it still burned(no other symptoms). I have now been in a relationship with the same girl for a bit over 6 months. I have since been to the DR in April for the burning and also a red rash on my penis head. I again had swabs and such done, all test came back negative. I was told it was a Yeast Infection and was recommended an OTC Yeast Infection cream. I so far have tried Clotrimazole applied twice a day for about a week. Seemed healed for about 2 days, but the red rash was still there; then it flared back up. Switched to Miconazole same effect but have been using it for a few weeks now, the burning sorta subsides for awhile with the cream applied but it's still there as well as the skin on my penis-head has been peeling for a month or so and I have slight to moderate testicle ache, that goes into my stomach. This sucks.I have as of the middle or end of May noticed what look like inflamed Fordyce Spots with a white head inside on my penis and surrounding area. My partner has been to the gynecologist in mid-June and everything checked out fine. We have sex and she is experiencing no symptoms. I'm not sure what to think as to what it may be. But if needed I suppose I could upload pictures of the spots and penis-head.

Go to another doctor cause the first one obviously missed something. Women dont even have symptoms that bad when they have yeast infections, besides why would you allow yourself to get more uncomfortable by the day!

He stated being that I'm uncircumcised it'll probably be something I will have to live with for the rest of my life being that the foreskin keeps the area moist. I don't know if I believe I'll have to live with forever. The only thing he recommended I try is Destitin. Is there anything at all that I could try?

I don't think much of your doctor. The population of Europe and Asia doesn't have permanent yeast infections. There are many different antifungals available without a prescription that you can try. Sometimes a particular yeast has resistance to some. Have a look on the box to see what the active ingredient is.Make sure you use it regularly and rub it well in - I suggest you use it twice as often as recommended (this won't be bad for you). Make sure you treat areas near the inflamed area, as well as the inflamed area itself. Then keep using it for at least two weeks after the symptoms have gone, to make sure you get rid of it - otherwise it tends to recur.

For I have already tried Clotrimazole and Miconazole neither work that well.

Both are imidazoles. You might try a polyene - nystatin is particularly active against Candida species - or you might try Lamisil (terbinafine), which is an allylamine, and expensive but powerful.I've been unable to find "Destitin".

Sorry. The cream is called Desitin. It's used for Diaper Rash. It's Zinc Oxide. Dunno why he recommended that, but I gave it a shot last night and today, didn't do anything besides make it a huge pain to remove.

I think even less of your doctor. Zinc cream!
