I just have to say it to someone.A little while ago this summer, I went on a trip to China in a group of about 40 kids, and they were all from a different state than I was. In the last four or five days of the trip (including flight time, I think) I "met" a girl in the group, as in I hadn't really talked to her most of the trip. We kindof clicked, I guess, and it was just great being with her and talking to her. We hung out on about 9 hours of the flight from China home, messing around with each other. I'd never felt as I did when I was with her, and we had only known each other a few days. I liked her and I knew she liked me, and I just really wish we lived in the same state so I could be with her.I just couldn't not express these feelings.

Couldn't not say this for any longer...
-
Congradulations. YOu used double negatives properly. In other news did you get her number or anything? How old are you? 0.o
-
I use most grammar properly ;-)Ya, I have her phone number, but it's not really the same. I'm 16.
-
Your 16? no surprise xD.Good grammar is always a plus. too bad I dun have it. I blame being from the south xD. Bout as far south as you can go at that xD.Anyway. I know how it goes.... But, look on the bright side you made a friend. Sides.. you have a LOOONNNGGG time to think about things and such.I would really suggest getting out the house some. It is ALWAYS a good think to keep yourself preoccupied so you don't get think about things as much.

Sounds like hormones to me
-
Yes, attraction and lust have a lot to do with hormones, especially in teenagers. Are you offering him a hormone suppressor to help him with his problems?Cider:How far away exactly is she? Is she in the next state over or is it a Washington/Florida kinda thing?
-
I'm saying he's 16 and needs to stop lusting over a girl that's several states away.Well, it's hard to say "stop lusting" just like that, but at least go for something else and try to forget about this random girl in the country.
-
Why does it have to be "lust"? Why can't a 16 year old boy simply not have true feelings for a girl? It's rather insulting to imply it's lust and not true feelings.
-
It's a seven-hour drive.
And StillSearching, I'm not "lusting" over her. And technically, it's one state away. But I have no plans of trying to start anything with someone who lives that far away, especially when I haven't even gotten my driver's license yet. It's called expressing one's feelings that he has never felt before, not "lusting" over someone.
-
Meh. Hormones/lust/or true love. I really can't comment. All I can say is you just need to get out your house. Have some fun. Your 16.. grab some friends and go do something. It is always better to not think about it. The best way to really get over any relationship is to think about it little as possible and just keep doing things and actually living your life.
-
I'm not trying to get over it because I'm already over it. I just wanted to express that I had felt something that I haven't ever felt before. You guys misinterpreted the meaning of my post.
-
You guys misinterpreted the meaning of my post.Oh, ok. This statement threw me off: "I just really wish we lived in the same state so I could be with her."Call me crazy, but for some reason I got the feeling you weren't over it
-
Yes. I know i have issues understanding/being understood online.
But, I think you must concur any post is subject to misinterpretation and a post of this nature its particularly easy to be read improperly.

Right, nice post. We all have those kinda stories. The girl that ya got on really well with, everything just clicked, but then ya never saw her again. Its annoying, most of us get over it but some people dwell on it and waste their time "what if"-ing. Glad to hear that you're not one of them.
