I'm a 21 year old female and noticed a lump between my anus and vagina a few months ago. It's about the size of a pea and completely painless. It's weird...I can push on it and it like...goes into my anus. I looked it up online and the only thing that looks remotely similar is a hemorrhoid...but I'm not sure. I also wear thongs regularly, which could irritate the anus.
I don't know if I should rush to the doctor...any ideas what it could be?

It could be a cyst of some sort. I don't think you need to rush to your doctor, if you've had it for a few months and it hasn't changed; but at some time you should get the doctor to check it out.

I was going to say its your prostate, until I noticed that you had a vagina.I would see a doctor to be safe. If it were a hemorrhoid, it would probably cause you pain. It might actually be a hernia, since you said that it can shift.I've had two hernias, albeit, not in that location. Sometimes they can be painless, as mine was. They won't kill you, but the opening in the intestinal wall will continue to weaken, making the hole larger, and thus spilling more intestines in to plural spaces that was never designed to contain intestines.Get it checked out.
