She was 17 and stoned to death by her own family members, for loving a muslim boy and converting to his religion. It sparked violence in Iraq against the Yazidi sect which she belonged to. The latest bombing in Iraq has killed 200+ so far and was a result of the stoning. This type of crime usually goes unnoticed by most of the world, so I'm throwing it out there, not to bash on others religious beliefs, but the particular lack of intelligence and reasoning among this group. Seems like for some, a girl's actions can bring more shame to the family than their own actions of picking up stones and hurling them at an innocent girl.Link to her picture: (not the internet video)http://www.anglofille.com/2007/05/14/dua-khalil-aswad/

It's horrible.

It happens.I don't see anyone complaining about Samurai's killing other Samurai because they asked them too (back in the day). So yeah.
-
And how the fuck is a warrior asking to be killed the same as a young woman being beaten to death by her family? Did she ask for it? Did she go for the Muslim boy cause she likes the feeling of blunt objects breaking her bones? You're really just an ignorant shit sometimes.
-
Its awful. I felt compelled to post it, for no appearent reason. I guess I wanted people to know about this little girl and maybe have her in your thoughts and prayes, if you pray.
-
I am going off on a really sick limb here, but do you think the girl really knew the potential punishment of her actions?I don't agree that it is right at all! However, for what ever reason, she made a decision about marrying this guy, knowing that there could be severe punishment. Is it REALLY that different from someone commiting a (real) crime?Apparently in her culture, this was a crime. Others know that there is a consequence, and still do the crime.I will reiterate, I DON'T THINK SHE COMMITTED A CRIME, AND SHE DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE!Just thought I would throw out there the ability of all of us to choose. This girl loved him enough to die for him. BUT it was still her choice.
-
Yeah, she really didn't marry him, and there is question as to whether she even converted to his religion. What HAS been confirmed, was that she didn't come home one night. The family was dishonored, and felt betrayed. The autopsy confirmed she was a virgin, but this I'm curious about...how the hell? Did she still have her hymen in tact? If it hadn't been in tact, would they (the docs) have concluded she was NOT a virgin? So there's some question there.Just like sexuality, being gay, a homosexual, a lesbian, bisexual, WHATEVER, is not a choice people decide to make....neither is falling in love. Just happens!
-
It would have been based on her hymen. There are parts of the world where keeping an intact hymen for the marriage bed is still very important, and surgeons do a good trade in hymen restorations.
-
_how the hell? Did she still have her hymen in tact? _
Why do you question that?
-
Well, a girl's hymen can tear while doing a variety of activities from horseriding to inserting a tampon. I know in parts of the world it's very important to have the hymen in tact, and as ineligible sais its also sewn back on before marriage, but...I don't know. I just think it's weird. But it makes sense that the fact that her hymen is p cresent, yeah...I thought I heard it can slip to the side sometimes and NOT tear during sex, giving the appearence that she's still a virgin. I might just be making shit up though!
-
I think the whole idea that it's probably torn becasue of this or that is overrated... Naturally, if a tampon or something else is inserted into the vagina, it may tear, but I see no reason why people expect it to be torn from normal activity.

I guess I should've mentioned that I was referring to all the "mercy killing" that article was talking about. Excuse me, Mr. Perfect.> You're really just an ignorant shit sometimes.Thank you for that. I'll make sure to insult you and calling you an ignorant piece of shit next time you express your opinion. Good day.
