So I figured that if I wanted to work out my biceps, I should do it with weights. All went well and fairly easy, till I lifted one with my left arm. Don't expect anything extraordinary or something, but a weird thing happens every time I bend my arm upwards to train my biceps. About halfway through, on my left arm, I don't know how you call it, but simply the space between your upper and lower arm (yeah I know that's where your elbow is, but the other side of that, very simple, just don't know what to name it, the place they often tap into veins in a hospital), well there, halfway through bending my arm upwards, one vain just... wiggles. Like there isn't enough room so he temporarily cracks and forms a corner, until you lower your arm again. It's a very irritating feeling and it starts to hurt after a few times. Even now I can still feel a soft pain after an hour. Is there anything I can do about this? I can't imagine having this irritating feeling every time I bend my arm with weights for the rest of my life. Could there also be some bad effect? Like a varicose vein?I know it's not a big thing, but it's very irritating (to me at least) and pretty much makes working out my biceps into a shitty time (something I planned doing every single day)

Doomed Biceps (?)

My guess is your bicep is quite strong, but you've got a very weak supporting muscle in there that's getting overloaded. When I used to overtrain my biceps, the inner elbow was always the area that hurt most. Try reducing the weight by quite a bit, and doing a larger number of reps for a week or two just to strengthen any supporting muscles.Edit: Also, don't work your biceps out every single day. If you're lifting proper heavy weights you'll only over train them and make them smaller, if you're not lifting properly then you're just wasting your time anyway.

Ah I see, thanks a lot, I'll do that and hope that solves it.PS: Wow, actually smaller? Thanks for that too, I'll search up a bit more about that. I take it that's also for every other muscle.

Hey thanks HelmsmaN, it's already going somewhat better. I appreciate the help.
And a side question: at the moment I train them every other day. Is this still too fast after each other?
