Blacks beach is a nude beach here in SD, but the pervs that go there really don't do it justice. Mexican men hiding behind bushes (fully clothed) peeping the nudes, horny white men stroking themselves as they wade in shallow water, old as men JOGGING?!?!?, All that really made me not want to go back since 1990, when I saw all that in one day. I was with two smoking hot girls, too, we just didn't get nude (damn)

Lifeguards make all the difference. This beach is secluded, you have to climb down a treachourous cliff side, and once you're down there, no one is regulating anything. So I wish there were some with lifeguard patrolling indescent behavior.

I guess you must be from the US, because if you were from Europe you wouln't be so concerned.
In Europe, most everyone puts on their swimming togs once you get to the beach. You slip out of your kit right there, there are no changing boothes. People aren't so concerned because every woman has tits and a vula and every boy has a penis in the EU. There is the odd glance if the person is especially cute.
Not all Europeans go sunning or swimming starkers, it just depends on personal preference. I guess if I had to identify a group who really adore being starkers, it's the Germans. They seem to congregate and take over any beach they're using, so if it is known Germans are there, you expect nudity. Otherwise, there are beaches set aside for no suits and others where suits are the norm. Quite often children enjoy the day sans clothes, but we don't seem quite so hung up on there being a nude 5 year old as they are in the US.
In general, in the EU, if you go naked then it's because you enjoy not being clothed, not because you want to peek at the tits or penises of those enjoying the beach around you.

I haven't been to a nude beach; but I've been to a nudist/naturist park. A place called Lilly Valley in Fort Erie. It's pretty much just an enclosed park with space for tents, trailers, a couple pools, hot tub and lots of very pretty trails around the property. Overall, nudism here (as in North America) for those of us who enjoy it; find a more tight-knit community of fellow nudists. My GF and I just went for the first time in May of this year; we we're nervous, and of course it was a bit awkward at first. But after about 5 minutes of standing around talking to the owner of the place, I decided I should get ready (my GF followed suit [pun intended] she's such a trooper, lol) After about 30 minutes of being there the whole nervousness was gone. All in all, I'd actually prefer to be around ANY person naked, than go to a beach or park with a bathing suit, my GF WILL NOT go swimming or to any place that requires a bathing suit; but she loves going to the nudist park (I have the same feeling). In a true nudist setting, weight, height, etc etc becomes meaningless; it's just a bunch of people enjoying the freedom of being un-bound by clothing. My personal advice is to find a nudist park FIRST before going to a beach. At a clothing optional beach in North America, there is still a chance of having pervs and gawkers. At a nudist park it's more private, it's controlled, and very social. You'll have a good time if you can let go of the social belief that being naked is wrong.
