My ex-boyfriend loves me and says i was his greatest girlfriend. However, he says he doesn't want a girlfriend right now. I know it is not my job to convince him to be with me, but I don't want to lose him.... what do i do?

He just wants to be friends?

In my personal opinion, if he truely loves you, he'll come back. He may just need a little time to his self to think about things that might be confussing him. Give him time :)

Accept his wishes if you really respect him.

There is ALWAYS one person who's more intrested in the other person in a relationship. Thats why there are no two alike in this world (maybe in a parallel universe). Just respect his wishes, hope for the best, expect the worst, and allow what has been written to play itself out.
