Quote:I'll have better ones once she calms lol i have a black tri aussie that's little over a year old and she still is too hyper. lol
-
Haha, then maybe I'll just wait until she falls asleep, whenever that'll happen...
-
Put a cannon on his back and that would be the best dog in the world!
-
congrats! shes really pretty!
-
omg shes gorgeous!!! I love boxers
-
This is my first ever dog but I have a lot of experience taking care of my aunty's 2 albino boxers. But damn, its one thing going over to her house every day to entertain them for a few hours, completely different to actually have one that (according some webpages) won't calm down for another 18 months!
-
lol!! well i have two dogs and one is REALLY hyper. and hes 3.. :P i love hyper doggies
-
thats why my family sticks to golden retrievers, but boxers are so adorable
-
Well I've been living with cats for 20 years so its quite unusual for a hyper pet to be able to pin me to the floor!
-
haha, ive never had a hyper dog before. our golden just lays around all day, if you call him he sits lays there and lazily wags his tail. doesnt get up or anything. once in a while he'l beg us to pet him, but thats about it. hes cute though:P and hes afraid of the cat, lmao. im sure eventually your boxer will turn into the biggest sweetheart ever
-
OMG I love Boxers!!! She is so cute.
-
Excellent! Now remember, you have to make sure she sees you as the top dog in the house, and not herself. One way of achieving this, I am told, is to feed her out of your mouth.Of course in the dog world it is settled by who shags whom.

I must say, my options don't look too appealing...

Ooooor, you could just walk her, IN HEEL, everyday for about an hour. And always make sure you are first when you go through doors... Another fun thing to do to assert dominance is to put food on the floor and not let her have it for forever, until you say she can.EEEEEE, I love dogs!!! Especially puppies! And you know, boxers are really a good breed of dog, their temperment reminds me a lot of labs, except boxers do this cute jumping thing when they are excited.
-
Oh the jumping, its 3am and she is still jumping!!
-
ha sounds like fun, and calming down? i have a 8 year old golden retreiver who still hasnt calmed down, and somehow went from runt of the litter to arnold schwarzaneggar of dogs! and he is a sweetheart, he'd sooner kill you by crushin ya trying to kiss ya than attack you
-
