Hey,A while ago, whilst masturbating I realised that whilst I had a sustained erection, there was this strange uncomfortable feeling within my penis (in the tube, I forget it's name). It felt like there's air in there, or something, and it makes it extremely uncomfortable. One day, it randomly went away so I thought nothing more of it (it only lasted a few days). Now it's back, I only noticed it when I was just getting erect. I thought my fluids would clear it out but nope, I'm flacid and it feels like it's still there and it's causing discomfort. It feels like it's about to come out of my penis, but it isn't moving.. It's really confusing? I've done everything to try and get it out, no luck.Thanks.

Air trapped within penis?

Welcome back, UrbanNinjaDude.I would have thought a pocket of air in the urethra would be flushed out by urine. Two possibilities that enter my head:1. A kidney stone could be trapped there - but again I would have thought it would be flushed out by urine (or cause a noticeable blockage).2. You could have an infection there, that makes it feel like something is there. That might need antibiotics prescribed by a doctor to clear it. It could be a urethritis, gonorrhoea, or a plain urinary tract infection.

It's great to see you still here giving advice to people.Randomly, today's it's gone again. No idea what's going on there. An infection sounds likely, however not an STI as I've only ever had one sexual partner over the course of 2 and a half years.I've suffered a frenulum breve, if that's useful information (always pain when I sustain a full erection in sex, was one incident where there was blood beforehand and occasionally there is blood now, so seems likely that's what it is..)Another quesiton- Frenuloplasty, can that make sex less pleasurable? I'm considering it an option, as it's greatly hindered my sex life. Thanks!

An infection in the urethra doesn't have to be an STI. Bacteria or fungi can get in from the outside skin through the meatus. It's possible there is a pocket of infection that spreads occasionally and retreats again in the battle with your immune system. I used to have a gum abscess that would inflame when I was stressed.I doubt the frenulum breve would be connected to it. If that is hindering your sex life by all means get it cut. They shouldn't have to remove it - just nick it to make it longer. It has also been claimed that the frenulum can be lengthened by regular stretching, though this is not so easy as foreskin stretching.
