My school and almost all the other high schools and public schools in my location are required to wear uniform. I personally don't mind uniforms except for skirts. I hate skirts with every fiber in my being. But now all these teens have to wear uniforms looking like Carlton at Princeton. It's so funny. They look so miserable though. Now they can't wear those extremely tight jeans that look spray painted on or those stupid pants below their butt showing their stupid boxers. Things just got a whole lot better. HALLELUJAH!

Uniforms galore!

I find it funny that people make up all kinds of excuses in favor of uniforms."its so people won't get picked on"yet, I still got picked on because mine came from the cheapest place possible and wasn't brand name."it helps academically"not really they are less comfortable....."it will help prevent school shoot outs"I can shoot everyone in my school naked *edit. I really gained favor for one of my teachers because he and I shared the same thoughts on it. Looking back I don't mind that much because i never had to decide what to wear.. but, oh well. Who am I to complain. Conformity usually triumphs.

I had to wear a uniform in grade school. I went to a catholic school in Queens where, though they didn't have much money, they probably got most of it from uniforms.I feel like visiting that school nowadays, seeing the old teachers, though I detested some of them, especially the religious dictator teacher I had that was just HORRIBLE.Haha I remember, on the few days where we had the option to dress down, I had forgotten, and I came to school wearing that uncomfortable, standing-out uniform and I was like to my friends (being the naive idiot I was, as well as a mere child) "You're still going to play with me, right?" lmao. Like it put a bad label on me that I had forgotten to wear normal clothes. I remember them saying, "Are you kidding?"

The public schools here have to wear a uniform too. The uniforms are khaki, navy, black or brown pants and white or blue polo. I love it! It is so easy to school shop for the kids every year.

We have to wear uniforms, too. It's not bad, I just hate tucking in my shirt because it makes me look funny. I was not meant to tuck in my shirt. So mostly, I just wear sweaters instead of polos.

AGH - I HATE tucking in my shirt. It's so freakin' ugly. Plus, when it's required during the summer, it gets me so freakin' hot! I find it unreasonable to keep that rule even in the hottest weather. We had to wear a school sweater, too! It was dark colored, so it absorbed more (light/heat. I forget which one)
Good thing Catholic School was over after sixth grade for me.
