I was looking at my breasts the other day and I noticed there were little bumps around the nipple, not hard but just there. I'm almost 18, do you think this could be breast cancer? What is it? Sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not. I'm really worried.

Bumps?

Little bumps in the coloured area around the nipple (the areola) are normal. They are actually a sort of sebaceous gland, called Montgomery's glands. They produce an oily secretion to help moisturise the nipple and help with sucking, and they become more raised and bumpy when the nipple is stimulated.Breast cancer lumps are deeper in.

I agree. You are fine and they are normal. If you are still nervous, call and talk to a nurse at your OB or go into your OB or planned parenthood.
