I've searched the forum and read the only topic on Hydroxycut, and I am considering it at this point.I need your input.I am almost 19 years old, currently weigh 200 lbs. Over the past 3 months i've lost about ~22 lbs, and I go to the gym 6 days a week, 1.5-2 hours each day. My gym consists of 1 hour of cardio, this is done on an elliptical on a high resistance level, so i burn about ~1250 calories during my first hour. My next hour, I do a series of weight lifting, mostly on my arms and back. I just started getting into weights, and my arms are growing slowly but surely. I only bench press about once a week.My diet consists of 2000 calories a day. I only drink water, green tea (actual green tea, with no sugar/calories), and Powerade. As for food intake, My breakfast is pretty large, with lunch and dinner smaller meals. I would say that my diet is above average at the moment, it could still use some tweaking. I drink about 10 cups of water a day.I take a multivitamin pill everyday, and have a fruit or two a day, usually a pear, banana, and apple. Pineapple/Watermelon once a week if I remember.I am currently losing about 10 lbs of fat a month, and my friend was talking to me about hydroxy cut tonight at the gym, and said it could help me achieve better, quicker results. I want to lose about ~40 more lbs, and was wondering if I should take Hydroxycut?

Hydroxycut, anyone?

Uhm, a few things.I highly doubt you're burning 1250 calories in an hour, especially if you're living on a 2000 calorie per day diet. The figures just don't add up.Don't do cardio then weights, do the reverse if you must. You will simply not have enough energy to punish your muscles.Do legs! Squat, deadlift! Arms want to grow with your body, not on their own.Stop drinking powerade! Those things are designed for professional atheletes who train 6 hours a day.Forget hydroxycut, just keep going as you are. When you're 10% body fat and want to reach 8%, then consider it.

k looks like I wont be using hydroxycut then...im going to start sprinting like you suggested. And I DO burn 1250 calories on my first hour, my shirt is completely drenched in sweat when im done, like i just came out of a pool almost. I can start doing squats again, my friend taught me how.

Yea, I realized it's a lifestyle change the hard way. I stopped playing WoW altogether (which was like 7 hours a day) and sold my account for $700. So now im just working, school, and gym until next year when I leave for Chico.I got two of my friends to go with me now, which is really got for consistency, but it REALLY comes down to changing your lifestyle. As for getting tired of my routine, well I know it's working pretty well, and the cardio is only an hour long, im not that ADD.As for motivation, i was checking out this nice looking girl at the community college today for about 10 seconds, when I realized that she was checking me out too. Im gonna see if she walks by that way on tuesday, it made me feel pretty good, probably because no one notices when I lose weight.

Why don't you promote it? I visit it every now and then.
