i have been playing bass for like almost 6 years now and i do it by ear, anyway i have a question about bass clef...how do you read notes on top of each other? and there is like a line connecting notes to each other, its not dark but its curvy and stuff? then there is lins that are dark conecting to each other... please help if you know

Honey, unless there is some way to show me an example, I can't help you much. Saying "not dark but curvy" and "dark lines" can mean a lot of things in music. At this moment, my assumption is the dark line connecting to another note is the notation of two eigth notes (if it's one line). A "curvy" line can either be a trill or a run (or something else).Why don't you learn how to read music? It's going to make your life so much easier. ADDED: Try here.

I've only been playing electric bass for about a year and I use tabs. Like on this site Ha. I guess it's alot like cheating, since you don't have to read music. But i DO know how to read traditional music too, if I need to.
