2nd hand weed smoke?
-
The cannabinoids will last the same length of time as if it were first-hand smoke - i.e., the one detected by a saliva test a couple of hours, the one detected by a urine test several weeks. However the quantities will be much smaller than from first-hand smoke, and would normally be under the detection limit.

Kind of hijacking the thread...sorry.There's something I've been wondering about weed and drug tests. For the longest time, it's always been "a couple weeks" or more for a detection period. But now if you look at Erowid's Cannabis Testing page , it has all the single use, weekly use, etc. thing.Do you think this is bogus? I mean, this whole time it's been 30 days or something like that, but now when its so specific, it made me wonder./endhijack

The urine test and saliva tests test for different cannaboids. The saliva test tests for the main one in the smoke, but it is rapidly changed into the body, so it only indicates recent use. The urine test looks at what it is changed into, which lasts much longer.

Not at all.Unless someone's breathing pot smoke directly in your face for an extended period of time, there's no way for enough to get in your system to have any effect, or to show up on a drug test.
