My arms are getting huge, but it's still really smallish around my wrist I know obviously your wrist is gonna be allot smaller anyway, but is there anyway to build up muscle around it better?

So what exercise builds muscle there?

Actually your bones adjust due to how much weight are on them, so if you build up muscle around your bones, they will grow (assuming you're getting enough calcium) to support your weight =D

for the first time ever I think your wrong on a exercise question.build up around them, yes, but you cna build them as well to a degree.lets think about this, muslces only pull, never push, when you flex your arm, your contracting the muscle on top that makes it bend, nothing bends with out a muscle moving it and the tendons and whta not working in the same direction as the muscle.I can bend my wrist, thers a series of muscle sand tendons there, they can be developed. Now I have fairly small wrists, much smaller than my hands so Im nto bragging im just saying its possible to do something there.wrist curls are building what they can, my suggestion is to simply add another step in your curls.your fingers. my fingers are so fucking strong, I can do push up or chin ups on just 2 fingers on eahc hand (push up) and a chin up one handed with two fingers on my right hand and all 4 fingres no thumb on the left.when you doa curl, use less weight. let your fingers open and uncurl (but still resisting) to nearly open, or as open as you can get with out driopping the bar, now start the next curl with the fingers doing the work first, thenn a standard curl after it.if your wrists and fingers are too weak to do it, then do an extra few sets, shit do it watching tv when your not working out to build it up so you cna use heavier weights while you do your routine instead of adding an extra step when you cant use your fingers to do it with your regular weight for your arms.I also constantly play with shit, several hard balls I p[icked up I mold and play with, like a rubber skin over a stiff clay that builds finger strength, I also have a gyroscope for my wrists and fingers, add in hang boards over my bed room door and doing ladders.... I know you can develope your grip and wrist.ladders by the way are the act of putting severl skinny baords on a wall, about a half inch think. all are about 12" apart.I doa chin up and try to throw my self to teh next board up with just my arms and extending them at he end of the move.with a flat wall and only half an inch of board to grab it takes soem doing to be able to do it. no feet helping just your arms. when you hit the top you let go and fall back down 1 board at a time.Keep in mnind most rock gyms have ladders to use, if you build your own, use screws not nails, and always on a wall. mine go up the back of the house :S its cold and Im nto going to be out ther edoing any right now, but come spring I hit the fuckers hard and I use the rock gym all winter.if you build your own also use fucking padding. a closed cell foam pad can be had for under 100 bucks. black diamond makes a few so do several companies that specalize in the area of bouldering and all teh hang boards nad pads you can need as well as grips should ya want to build a wall can be bought at REI. Living wher i do Im about an hour from black diamond head quarters and an outlet, its also in teh same center as a rock gym and bibler tents. Youll never get your writs to match your arms, but you can improve them its not all bone, theres some padding around that bone and joint.

Havent been around to get to this for a few weeks so Im late late late in defending my position.they are mostly bone, and yeah fingerand hand strength is what i care about as a climber, but even while made of bone there is muscle around that, the muscles dont run through teh bone that work your hands, they go over the outside of the bone.Thers not alot to be gained in wrist size, or even in finger size, thers simply not alot of msucle ther to build, but there is some, it can be built up to some degree.put one hand around the other wrist, move that hand, make a fist, roll it back and forth, feel all that shit moving around inside the wrist?its tendons, and muscle and of course some bone. if its tehre I say you can build it up, atleast to some degree.I wont say your totally wrong and I can build my wrists up to the size of my forearms or anything stupid like that butI would dare state that you could gain say 10 to 15% in size on that area.I have no proof of this, its an idea and opinion, but even if IM way off I still belive that some measurableeven if insignificant size can be gained.
