Do you have a good recommendation for a small compressor that would run a nail gun?
I am so friggin tired of toting the big one, and something that little would just be a waste to me....
So, Chance...

I bet this could have been a PM couldnt it?
Why? Could have happened away from the board too.Could have involved a phone call. MAYBE, someone else is interested in knowing too...this IS the community forum. Should I start a new thread called "home improvement" or something? You asked that it stop in your thread...So I switched it.
I bet your objection could have been a PM, couldn't it?
Probably. But, I tried to respect her wishes, and was NOT looking for a fight. If your here for a fight. Go.I know Pink is dealing with alot.So have YOU ever been depressed? Or felt walked on? If so, did it feel good?
does this forum have sides now?
That is the thing. I don't have a "side".I understand that he was trying to help, but it will create a fight...Look through my posts. I rarely do that. (I do, just takes a bit to get on board that someone is a troll)I was trying to make the point that Pink has a lot on her plate. I can let it go, and in as much as I could, let him know that she is trying to deal in HER way.I am not trying to beat anyone up%2
Thing is, people are leaving because this site has turned to shit.. it isnt the way it once was. If someone would have made a thread like this in the past. it would have got one warning... and then been locked. They would have told the members to keep it in PM. I remember once me and my friend chantel made a few posts off topic wayyyy back when and we got a warning to keep it in PM.Im not trying to start a fight what so ever.
I think Coonbag needs to keep on searching

How is Chantelle doing by the way?

If only I knew.. She turned pretty crazy. Got into some really bad drugs and hung out wiht a bad crew. Went hard into debt... called the cops on a bunch of our friends saying they stole stuff from her. Never did it to me though. She knew better.Apparently she is in Alberta working now. I don't care to see how she is doing anymore. She screwed too many of my friends overOooh and she also turned out to be a compulsive liar
Originally Posted By: PepsiChaserDo you have a good recommendation for a small compressor that would run a nail gun?Air CompressorA good, portable, air compressor is a great piece of equipment to have in the garage, work shop, or basement. Whether or not you're doing any remodeling work around your home, an air compressor is handy to have. Need to fill a truck tire? Maybe a bicycle tire... or how about inflatable toys for the pool... to take to the lake... or to the beach? Use it to power a paint sprayer, or a variety of air powered tools that are available today. There are several styles of portable air compressors available. For most people, a small "side stack" style, or a "pancake" style in the 2 horsepower range is more than adequate. Look for something with at least 4 gallons of air storage capacity so the motor doesn't run constantly when you're using it.My personal preference is the side stack model. This unit has two storage tanks stacked, one above the other, mounted on a frame which also houses the electric pump motor. I like this style compressor because it's relatively light, generally around 55 - 65 lbs, is extremely stable (not likely to tip over), and is easy to transport. The pancake style models have a storage tank mounted on the bottom of the unit (which resembles a pancake in appearance), and the pump motor is mounted on top of the tank. Several of my contractor friends use this style compressor, but the one complaint I've heard from time to time is they tend to tip over when being transported in the back of the truck (when they're not tied down, or blocked in place). If you're ready to buy a portable compressor, be sure to take the time, and read the product descriptions, before deciding which style will best fit your needs.Either way, portable compressors are great to have around, and since their prices have been coming down over the last several years, they're more affordable, and well within the reach of most interested buyers. Click here and see for yourself.Just found that off a google search, might help shrugs
you should also consider the price of an electric or even cordless nail gun to the cost of a new compressor.(I'm on the handy side)
Mr U your right, but I use a compressor for so much. I texture walls, nail in finish work, spray paint, change my tires, and air them up. I have a grinder attachment, an impact, I have a drill, all the hoppers (including a pretty cool airbrush set)and the finish nailer. (Probably more in the tools than the compressor itself)My prob is that I don't have a small enough compressor to take with me to job sites. The one that I have/had is a 6horse, 30 galon upright, bit for me to move around. I would be great just left in the garage for auto work and stuff that I do at home.
for your purposes...well actually in my experience I would stick with something similar to what you have. What kind of work do you do?BTW been so long I have lost track.
