A few weeks ago I had an intense stabbing pain somewhere in my intestines that lasted for several hours. In the last week, I have noticed a slight (almost unnoticeable) pain in the exact same spot. Some random symptoms that started a week ago around the same time that I think might be related are: an abnormal smelling flatulence, fatigue and general out-of-it-ness, and constant hemorrhoids (I haven't been wiping hard nor have I been constipated). I have been eating a healthy, balanced diet with plenty of protein, fiber, and veggies. I haven't noticed any blood in my stool and my system seems to be working fine except these symptoms. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the issue?

You might be having random moments of IBS. If it cotinues I would suggest seeing a doctor.I have been living with IBS for nearly 8 years now and the best thing I have found so far to help relieve the pain along with bloating and other symptoms is Metamucil. I drink it twice a day and rarely have issues anymore. Just something to try if you wanted suggestions.

I occasionally get a nasty pain in the intestines, usually after a lot of walking (and more often if I am stressed). My guess is trapped gas in the intestines, the traditional explanation for baby colic, but it's only a guess. I find defaecation helps relieve it.
