actually its not the relay switch we replaced that just today, and it blew the fuse as soon as i turned the key on, didnt try to start it, so that does mean its in the wires AFTER the relay, as in not the wire going to the fuel pump right?

The relay coil could short, but in this case I agree I got it wrong, it looks like it's the circuit the relay turns on that has the short.
-
now hopefully we dont, but if we do have to replace the ECM how much is that going to cost, because i looked at napa and autozone and it doesnt look like they carry them

I'll repeat my previous reponse... What you need to do is use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the wire to the body. You need to disconnect the battery when you do this. If you can trace the wire which feeds the fuel pump, it should not read 0 ohms. The short is after the relay.

thank you, i apparently missed the " after the relay" bit

FINALLY, there was a shorted out wire next to the oil filter, was rubbing up on an exhaust, now we just need to get a driveway that doesnt turn to impassable muck every time it rains...
-
Good deal... get some electrical tape and give it a good wrapping and try to isolate it from any further abrasion.

yup my dad already took care of that, got it runnin and everything.only blew 4 fuses too!thank you all for the help
