Well first off i would just like to say hello, and i'm glad i finally found a message board like this =] I would really appreciate your helpI was recently fingered for the first time, he didn't go much in and it was all fine and dandy...but then a couple days later he did it again and went all the way in and it was slightly painful, like it stung...i'm assuming this is normal...is it?
-
Pain?
-
Maybe he scratched you?As long as you're not feeling pain ALL the time, you should be okay.
-
Is that ok if that happens?
-
Well, it can happen. If your boyfiend did scratch you (it's just my guess), then let him cut his nails and be a bit more gentle.Another possiblity is that he may have reached as far as to your cervix and poked it too hard. That can also cause discomfort.
-
Mmmkay, thank you very much =DAlso another question...is there any type of infections you can get if his fingers are dirty?
-
It would make sense, but I haven't experienced that nor have I heard of such thing. So, I can't say yes or no.I'll just wait until someone with more knowledge knows that.
-
lol k
-
Sound be because it was your first time as well.. I felt awkward down there the first time it happened to me too.
-
Also, he may have used more then one finger, or the base of his finger is larger then your opening, and if you are a virgin then he might have been pushing the skin for the hymen, or opening it a bit more. If I remember right, that stings quite a bit.
-
hymen?
-
Someone needs a female anatomy course..
-
The hymen is a mucous membrane that covers part or most of the opening of the vagina.

Also, it's not a mucous membrane, it's just a membrane made from thin skin...

Welcome to A2A, 1928!

I thought that the mucous membrane and the skin are two different things. The membrane being a thin layer of tissue whereas the skin is multiple layers, making it an organ.
-
skin itself is an organ, but it can form membranes, I think. a Membrane can be formed by skin, where mucous membranes are like your nose, ears, eyes, any thick fluid that either protects against disease, or is put into over drive when you are sick.
-
What i thought was that you have "a skin cell" and your cell membrane is a collection of amino acids. I think i have got the wrong end of this stick though.
-
Well, I don't think the hymen secretes mucous, but I believe it's still there to protect debris from getting in the vagina.I suppose it's just a theory?
-
I think there may be some confusion here between a mucous membrane, which is a type of body lining, used particularly in body cavities, and mucus, which is slimy gooey stuff. Some mucous membranes secrete mucus, but not all do.The Wikipedia article on the hymen describes it as being made of mucous membrane.
