We've been sexually active for a few months. I have always worn a condom, and atfer every time we have sex I go and check to see if there were any holes in the condom. Because she didn't like the idea of using a BC pill, we always timed our sex when she would be as least fertile as possible. (According to an ovluation caldnder, she ovulated around the 16th this month, she doesn't have a strict 28 day cycle). Her periods normally start around 28th, 29th, 30th sort of are. On the 24th, she started bleeding (whilst we were having sex), and she said that it didn't look like a normal period. She did however say that she had been very turned on the previous day. We shrugged it off, and she carried on bleeding throughout the following day. However today, apparantly it stopped bleeding. She's just found slight bleeding, but it's still not the right blood flow. She didn't have any blood when she woke upWe've read some where that it could be a sign of pregnancy. We're really scared and really want to know what's happening! We're very careful about having sex and her ovlulation period. Remembering that her ovulation is on the 16th, we had sex on the 1st, 21st, 24th this month.Apparantly this morning she was really dizzy and had a stomach ache.Thanks.

We're REALLY scared

It really doesn't sound like she's pregnant... She just might be comming down with something..
To put your mind at rest, go buy a pregnancy test and have her take it first thing in the morning with the first urine.

Her "period" ended today. Apparantly it was a bit off colour too. That's really weird. Isn't it? :S This is her log. It isn't ever since her periods started, but it's just the furthest shes kept track of.26/08/07 26/09/0728/10/07 1/12/0730/12/0728/01/08 28/02/08 24/03/08

pretty regular

Oh and also, the period's ALOT lighter than normal.
Sorry forgot to add that.
-
Relax, she's not pregnant, so there's no need for more information. She's just having a wacky period. It happens. If you're still paranoid, have her take a pregnancy test.

Heh, I'm no expert, but I'm going to have to put out what I do know here in my male-uber-simple-version
Period = expelling of Egg.
no Egg = No Baby.Try again next week

Hey guys,
Bit of an update, something happened yesterday which has not happened before. She started bleeding yesterday (which is really early, it was on the 18th.. bit awkward considering they're usually 28th-1st), and although it's offcoloured, apparantly it smells exactly like a period. She has had no other symptoms of Pregnancy.
Help?? :frowning:

Like, 20% pregnant and 80% not pregnant? Is that what ur thinking?(Sorry...just joking with you. Sounds like even though everything is indicating she is not pregnant, you still don't seem to want to trust it.)

Infact.
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_you_be_pregnant_but_still_have_your_period
That kind of contradicts.
My girlfriend has recently naturally become skinnier, also she also thinks her breast size has shrunk. I'm unsure on the breastsize issue. She hasn't changed her diet or anything like that.
Can this be proof that she isn't pregnant? Considering one tends to put on weight when pregnant? Or..?
-
Sometimes there can be bleeding during pregnancy that looks like a period. (It can't be a true period, because in a true period the uterus lining is shed, which would cause miscarriage.) However even this is rare.If you are still afraid she may be pregnant, use a pregnancy test. They are easy to buy and not very expensive.

She doesn't want to do a pregnancy test.Still waiting on that damn period.. 28 days since the last period and previously it was going through a trend in which it was comming earlier than before...
-
Then all you can do is wait. You can't make her take a test, so there's not much you can do now. And also, the 28 day period isn't a solid fact. It can easily vary between woman to woman. Some may be 21 days or some may be 32 days. Periods are a wacky thing.

She doesn't want to do a pregnancy test. Why not? She just pee's on a stick.. What's the big deal?
-
I think it's the reality it would face.
But anyway, her period came today. Massive stomach cramps and heavy flow so.. all's well! :eyes:
Thanks to Virtual_Star, she's decided that it's best we visit a doctor in order to eventually go on the pill. So hopefully we'll have no more of these scares.

Good to hear, except for what's happening to your girlfriend. That's painful, but I bet she's relieved also.
-
Or, she could have had a miscarriage. Massive stomach cramps and heavy flow could mean that she just lost the fetus even though it was in it's earliest stage. Ask her to watch for anything abnormal when in the blood when she urinates.
