Okay, so I'm kind of new to this whole "tell about your problems" thing; I don't really talk with my friends about this topic other than my amazing friend that introduced me to this site. Therefore, if I seem a little "dumb" or something, just let me know. I'll take care of it.>.< This really is difficult, and a tad embarrassing ...I'm a virgin, plan on being one until marriage, but somehow got into masturbation. Strange habit for me, because, well I don't know. Either way, it's ... fun(?) and is something basically I can keep from my parents without feeling guilty about, or just ... going behind their backs in general, or doing something that I don't have their permission about, or... I could go on and on.Anyway, I did that about a month and 2 weeks ago (to be completely honest, it feels like forever ago...) when I was in a different state in a hotel with my parents. I sat on the floor of the shower for one time, laid under the covers of the fold out couch for the other. And now, the big ticket-I've noticed strange bumps on my bikini line, a strange brown spot on the very inner thigh that isn't a mole by any means, and when I sit, it burns. White ... stuff(?) is around the ... err ... front ... oh, God, I'll just say it- around the clitoris. It doesn't hurt when I pee, but like I said, it hurts when I sit.And just yesterday in the shower, I noticed a red bump off to the side, not on the bikini line but about 2 inches from it.Do I have an STD or something?? There's no rash on my hands, nothin' going on with my eyes...I did have a really bad cold almost immediately coming home ... not the flu I don't think, but I couldn't be sure.Help?

Std, or no Std? That is the question...

STDs come from other people. So unless you have had contact with someone else, your not gonna get one.As far as the bumps, you may just be noticing them now, because your exploring. The white stuff around your clit is also normal. Women have discharge. It is possible that you got a bit too rough. Sometimes tight jeans can make you sore too.

Yes, I know what you mean, however, what if there was something in the bed? I mean ... left behind or something?Meh. Oh well. I'll find out at my next blood test anyway if there's anything abnormal. Thanks for your help!Kat

Hotels wash the sheets, unless it was a REALLY bad hotel, and someone with a SERIOUS skin problem, not even an std is remotely possible. Don't worry

i got a skin infection from hotel bed sheets once...id get bumps on my back that would look like spider bites and itch like crazy get infected then pop and leave scars that look like bad acne craters. i had to go through three different dermatologist creams to get rid of it. it is highly unlikely an std but dnt dismiss the hotel sheets to quickly.also just as a note of advice dnt use any cups in a hotel thats not plastic wrap:http://youtube.com/watch?v=HXhXDWzbqns

Hence what I said. "If it was a serious skin infection" See *pokes my post*.
She, is asking about an STD. Unless, she was stradling the matress to sleep, the bumps would not only be local to her pooter. it would be SO rare for an STD to transfer that way, that she shouldn't even bother considering it.
