I only remember nightmares. It's very depressing, and 3/4 of my bad dreams are some variation of my worst fear, so its like reliving it over and over...

I have the ability to control my dreams, somehow. I would post one but this isn't and X rated site. will you teach me? i want to learn how too do that.
the dreams i don't mind having i don't get many of or well remember them. usually involves a mermaid and is partly why i'm fasunated by them.
my dreams are twisted, sometimes scary and alot of times bloody.
snakes haunt me and medusa controls them (witch is why i call her medusa)
...and i wake up in some kind of pain. like if i hurt my leg i wake up with it hurting.i act out and talk out sometimes. i;ve had some bad ones that i've been woke up cuz it was freaking every one in the house up. It really scary to wake up and have no clue.....except for people looking at you going it's ok?
i dk if there symbolic but i think some times they can be from your subconscious...maybe both. Maybe that;s it their symbolic of your subconscious.
as for some dreams.... i been eated and squized by giant snakes. my friend has been squished by snakes, my head has been shaved.liek the scalp.. bleeding shaved, i'm runnign from some one, getting raped, being skinned with a knife, running threw woods in my underwear, being hung in stare window naked, tryign to servive when some claw creatures were killign people. swimming in the ocean with mermaids. flying in bubles.
... i remeember one i was shrunk and locke din a coke bottle. yea their either twisted, sexual, or violant. rarley there is blood.the ones that really freak me out is liek i'm seeing myself being touchered. i can fil it but i can see it. AND soemtimes the people in my dreams have no heads. NOT liek there heads are cut off but like i'm seeign it and in my view i can;t see nothing but shoulders down. its scary shit. i hate my dreams.

eddie!! I missed you, boo.I miss alot of people.I hate having dreams. I used to dream great dreams about battling in Lord of the Rings and being Spidergirl. Those were fun. I used to love having dreams of defeating those gigantic monsters people call girls at soccer games. And doing the most ridiculous but amazing soccer moves I've ever seen. I had a dream my mom aborted me. That was really.... really weird. And then I started having dreams about living back in the 1800s. I've had very terrifying dreams of my friends and I being chased, harassed, and tortured by the KKK. I had a dream three of my guy friends were lynched. And I had a dream that was basically reliving the assassination of JFK. The worse one was of the 4 guys at my school shooting up people who didn't deny their faith. That was after the Columbine incident.I haven't had a pleasant dream in a while except for that time I met Queen Victoria lol that was an interesting dream.

If I knew how I did it I would tell you in a heart beat. All I can do is describe it.Say I'm having a nightmare. It's like, if things get to intense I can hit a pause button in the action and my consciousness (in the dream) moves outside the dream. At that point, even if my physical body is still in the dream it's like I'm just watching, aware that I'm dreaming and if I don't like what I'm seeing, able to change the channel. The same applies to pleasurable dreams. It's like I become a director of a film. Say it's a sex dream and there's something I want more of. I innately know it's a dream, pause, move outside the dream, change camera angles, scenery, positions, what have you, and can then hit play and go back into the dream. How I do it I don't know. It's just something I've been able to do since I was about 22, 23, 24, somewhere in there. Here's a link how good it is or if it works I don't know. And here's a search.

Interesting. I've had dreams where I realized I was dreaming...and then just proceeded to do anything I wanted to. I controlled the dream at that point. But I've never "stepped out" of the dream before as if to watch it. That's a trip!

In most of the dreams I have that I actually remember, my house is severly haunted and I get attacked (beaten up, strangled) by demons When I try to tell my mother that we need to do something about it, she tells me i'm just making it up. In the dream she always refuses to believe me even when i'm being attacked right in front of her.I had another dream recently where my brother was in the army and he got killed. His spirit (or whatever) kept trying to contact me using the phone, because he needed me to go back to the base and get something for him. So I kept bugging my dad and telling him that I had been talking to my brother. Of course my dad didn't believe me. He just blew it off saying that people were just trying to mess with us and it wasn't my brother making the calls. In the end, i convinced my dad to go back to the base and so on...Pretty much all my dreams have something to do with ghosts or demons, but more often then not it's evil and I get attacked and stuff. It's also a running theme in them that my parents never believe me.

I often have dreams that will startle me or scare me and I wake up usually around 4-5 in the morning.. Screws up my sleep pattern and I end up being tired. This morning I dreamt that a coworker had a large alligator strung up and he was separating the meat and fat and throwing the rest in a pile on the ground (His dad is a butcher and worked with his dad when younger).. After that he went and brought out another animal that was tied up. My first glance was that it was a black dog something like a Lab or a Newfoundland. The problem was that it was alive. I thought he was going to kill it. I couldn't look/listen so I plugged my ears and turned away. Instead of killing it first he started skinning/gutting it alive... I was screaming for him to stop while I was running around trying to plug my ears even harder from the sound of the screeching...Ughhhh .. How fucked up is that? I'm gonna kick his ass today when I see him. LOL

Those kind of dreams crack me up. I have woke up totally ticked off at someone because of what they did in my dream. All the rational in the world doesn't change the feeling.
I even dropped my daughter off at a friends before because I just couldn't deal with the dream. I KNOW it wasn't HER doing those things, but I just wanted to strangle her for being such a sneaky tramp..lol

That's fucked up.

Ooo I HATE it when dreams seem that real. There have been so many mornings where i've called my parents when they're at work,in a crying panic cause I thought they were dead and I needed to make sure they didn't actually die.Now that I think about it, the same type of thing happened after that dream about my brother. I woke up and immediately jumped on AIM just to make sure he was still online and alive.

like ive said many times before, i have some freaky intuition when it comes to dreams, mostly pertaining to relationships. like quite a few times ive had a dream about my girlfriend-at-that-time breaking up with me, then within the next few days BAM relationship over (and not just with one GF,pert near every single one that dumped me) (and my behavior didnt change either) like one example: girls name was Jessi,in the dream one minute everything was fine, the next, shes riding off in a car with some guy going through my old trailer park for some reason. but anyways they arent even going 10mph but i still just couldnt make my legs go faster and eventually they got away. couple days later she calls to tell me shes dumping me to go out with an 18 year old with a job and a car (i was 16)and OldFolks, i can do pretty much the same thing. and i also have a recurring theme in my dreams and theyre almost every night. it always involves me being a cross between ryu from the breath of fire games, and Dante from Devil May Cry. and lots and lots of flying. i know im a total nerd but its fun so fuck you! and the only nightmares i have are about relationships and zombies. not necessarily together

I think dreams often take their theme from things we have been turning over in our minds, often things we fear. My nightmares usually involve failure - especially killing my family through my stupidity.A recurring theme in my dreams (though it hasn't reappeared for some time) is a light bulb that when switched on is visible, but illuminates nothing.

I agree, when I fell asleep last night, that whole business with Jon went totally opposite and I was so happy, then I woke up and I was extremely pissed. I called my friend julia and told her to tell him I was mad at him for no reason, she did and he was very blunt... I will not repeat what he said...
-
Hahaha, sorry about that.He spoke in japanese to me. -nod-Basically, "stupid failure".Which is why I didn't want to repeat it.
