Let's start off by putting it this way,I've worked with this girl for awhile. We hang out a lot outside of work. When I first met her, she had a boyfriend...but she dumped him 3 or so months ago.Anyways, I've known her for over a year and we've done some little things at a few parties here and there and one night she confessed her love to me while drunk(while she still had a boyfriend), but that was a long long time ago. Anyways...I am thinking of asking her out but I don't want to ruin a great friendship in case things didn't work... She refers to me as her best friend a lot and I just don't know what to do anymore.

So there is this girl...

I think you can at least tell her that you would be interested in going out with her. It sounds like you have a strong friend ship and I doubt that you hinting that you would be interested in her will harm it.Hope this helps!

Well, would you regret not trying more or messing your friendship up?If i were you ad atleast try, people usually regret notdoing stuff more then doing somthing stupid.

To give a slight update....she is talking to her ex boyfriend that cheated on her.She puts is as "me and him are talking" and that is usually the step right before she starts dating...Tomorrow I am going to have a sit down with her and tell her how I feel on the situation...how she shouldn't get back with him and she should give me a chance.Something along those lines.Suggestions/thoughts?

Once a cheater, always a cheater, I say.If she wasn't good enough before, she still won't be. Nothing changed. If she gives him the chance, he'll just use her again. Usually how it goes. However, coupling "Don't be with him" and "Be with me" looks sorta suspicious. Your call, if you have a good rhetoric, you should be able to pull it off.

If she consider's you her best friend.. then she would definetly be comfortable with you telling her how u feel. Telling her how you feel probably wouldnt ruin the friendship. You could ask her to go to a movie or something.. buy her food.. maybe give her some sexy eyes during the movie and see what happens!

so anyways, I txted her that we needed to talk and she is all like about what.I am like us, and shes like well go ahead I am waiting to start work. So I tell her what I think about her and her ex boyfriend...and she didnt respond for like 3 hours lol. But that was because she was at work...yet by that time...I was at work as well(we work at the same place, but in differenet departments) She comes up to me while I am working and was smiling(thank god) and Im like "I guess you aren't mad then" and she is like "nope"So we couldn't talk much there, but she said she would wait for me when I Took my break at the end of her shift. We talked a bit but nothing about us, just about how she shouldn't date her ex boyfriend and reminisced a bit.Anyways...Now I am trying to formulate a plan to say "I like you". But those 3 words are pretty damn hard to say.

Just say them, it's not so bad, really. I can do it for you if you like :P
