Well, I just got back from this, and I was amazed. Has anybody else witnessed this masterpiece yet? Heath Ledger's performance was legendary. I enjoyed it much more than Jack Nicholson's version, it was much darker, and more sadistic. Ledger completely pulled off the role of a psychopath, and scared the shit out of me while doing it. Aaron Eckhart was great as well. He portrayed 2 very different characters amazingly, one as Harvey Dent, and the other as Two-Face. He played being the good guy in Harvey Dent so well, only to become Two-Face, who was ruthless, and unforgiving. It was just such a great theater going experience. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire 2 and a half hours, and I'm still in amazement. Waiting for over a year was well worth it, and this film definitely lived up to the hype that it was receiving. Has anyone else here seen it yet?

I admit, I didn't see too much of the Adam West series, but you're right about him being left in the dust when it comes to the Batman franchise. After all, he was the first one! But I love that man more for his current voice work. He has one heck of a sense of humor.

Adam West was great. I remember watching the old show when I was younger.

I want to see that movie soooo freaking bad! I just feel horrible though that Heath killed himself right after he was done with the movie... He was such a great actor. But I want to see it for Christian Bale! he's so damn sexy ;3 And as far as Adam West- I looove his voice! He play's such a good creep.
-
Just for the record, he didn't commit suicide.
-
I tried to find the old Batman series on DVD. Apparently, it doesn't exist. That sucks. Worse than Bob's feet.

Adam West is a great mayor.

I grew up with Adam's batman. I really loved the old original movie.
I liked the Tim Burton/Michael Keaton version of batman
I also liked the more recent batman begins and I really look forward to seeing this movie
guess I'm just a fan of the batman

I agree. I love heath ledger.. (had the BIGGEST crush on him after 10 things I hate about you).. but I don't think it was an accident.

How can we say whether it was or it wasn't?Was he gay?

Quote: How can we say whether it was or it wasn't?We can't. all they know is he took allot of drugs (prescribed drugs) yea he could have done it on an oops forgetting he took some ........and he could have drank the bottle. NOONE knows but him and he want be answering that question. is he gay?..... the only one that truly knows is dead. read last sentence of above quote. I’m not saying if he did it or not.. But when you take meds for depression it’s usually a pill at a certain time of day? Right? Ok so yea he could have forgotten and took a 2nd. Very possible. BUT I dk if the dosage was strong or not… the type of meds I dk either. Could 2 pills kill him? Maybe or maybe not..? But a handful would decently do it. And you do not take a handful on accident. Take it how you want.that;s just what I think. I think it’s best for his family and fans to think he took one extra cuz he forgot he had taken them already if you want to know what I think of it….
