OK, I don't know if it's always been like this, or if I'm just noticing it, but there appears to be hair growing out of the bottom of my shaft. Not a lot, just a few sporadic hairs, which grow as long as the rest of my pubic hair at (apparently) the same rate. I noticed it on my birthday this past Saturday in the shower, but I'm assuming it's always been there. There are also a bunch of little whitish bumps in the same area, only they extend about half way up my shaft, only only on the bottom, just like the hairs. I was wondering if it's anything to worry about, and if anyone knows what the bumps are. I don't think I should be worried because, like I said, it has to have been there for more that just a few days, and it's never caused an issue. Thanks for reading!

Hair where it shouldn't be...

There's no reason that there shouldn't be hairs growing on the bottom of your shaft any more than there should be hairs growing any where else. You're a guy! Could the whitish bumps be hair follicles?
-
That's what I was thinking... hopefully it's not a TUMAHH!!
-
do the bumps stop where you were crimsized if you were that is?
-
The little whitish bumps are sebaceous glands, and perfectly normal. You have them over nearly all of your skin, but usually buried - they are more visible on genitalia where the skin is thinner.Hair on the lower part of the shaft is common, if sometimes annoying.

Don't know about the bumps, but hair on the shaft can be a real major issue - It can sometimes almost cover the shaft. You cannot shave it or pluck it and make it go away. What you can do is to find a laser hair removal clinic that will make it go away forever though. It will cost some bucks, but you will never regret spending the dough.

You cannot shave it or pluck it That doesn't make sense.. You can shave or pluck any hair.
-
Thanks for the correction. I should have said - can't be "successfully" plucked or shaved. The problem becomes worse because it will cause the hair folicles to becomes even thicker over time.
-
They don't become thicker.. It's jut seems like it becasue shaving makes the hair short and stubby with sharp edges.

The laser hair removal person that I dealt with (based on their extensive experience in the field) claims otherwise. I was told that plucking in particular (over time) causes/encourages thicker folicles which become much more difficult to permanently eliminate. Ans while the laser method is not truly permanent, it should be effective for many years.

I can't say anything about plucking (although I question that claim) but shaving really doesn't do anything to the thickness of the hair.
