And boy is it easier than English. We're learning basic things, whats your phone number, name, age, etc. and in my English class we learned like 6 rules for making a proper sentence. they have none of that over there, only particles. why do we have to be so arrogant and not do anything the British way. it'd be so much easier, although the language the same. metrics are easier than us measures, and with most other languages, there aren't like 500 rules! anyway, I'm happy that I'm learning it, finally, after 2 years of going-nowhere-self-study. woohoo! but now i gotta make a lunch, feed my cats then go to bed.こんばんわ。or Good Evening. for all you English speaking folk.

So I'm learning to speak Japanese

Yes! I already have a metric system Australia ftw

Good luck on a second language! I took a year of Japanese in high school and stopped. It was too hard and too much studying for me.

Now you can ask someone out in Japanese, haha.

Yeah we should converse in Japanese!I took a pause on learning Japanese because somethings I say in Japanese sound very much alike what I would say in Portuguese and what "cute" means in Japanese is like.. "kill him now" in Portuguese. Got to watch out for that.I have a hard time when I confuse the two though. I tried praying in Japanese (to show off) and I ended up in Portuguese by the time it was over. My mom was looking at me like "what the heck".

well that'd sound a bit stalker-ish.Here's how that would go...Hi, whats your name? o namae wa?How old are you? nan sai desuka?Where do you live? [name] ni sundemaska?I love you. aishiteruGoodbye. sayonara! maybe one way to ask...but not the best, lol

well, my teacher makes it easy, which is nice, and she doesn't do weekend homework! its great, because she has the accent of the language too, so you learn really well. We do almost everything in class, and the only homework we really have is to practice writing. its awesome! i still have 2 years to go! woohoo!

I learned for about a year when I was about 13 or 14 so, unfortunatly, I have forgotten almost everything.....
