Hopefully they dont pass those beliefs onto their children/Grand-children.

Okay great… so than should non-Christian heterosexual couples be allowed to use the word marriage since it’s a Christian based sanction? Ugh sorry, touchy subject for obvious reasons. Lol

Hamas supports him. Momar Kadaffi supports him. The Black Panthers support him. His faith, if he really has any, is Muslim...and he attended, for 20 years, a Black Nationalist (racist) "church" under Rev. Wright, who was a deciple of Malcom-X (a major-league trouble-maker who is one of the most racist individuals in the country, and a Muslim). Obama has let words about his "Muslim faith" and racist attitudes slip in several interviews over the years. (How many times have you slipped and stated you had Muslim faith?) So, for starters, he's got what I consider to be a major character flaw (racist), along with having questionable loyalties to this country. He also has been associated with Ayers (a national terrorist) as well as (until recently) employing Fannie Mae's ex-CEO, Franklin Raines (Raines was "let go" when his position with Obama was uncovered). Either Obama doesn't choose his company well, and/or he had some "paybacks" to make (Fannie Mae contributed more to Obama's campaign than to anybody else except the man in charge of the Senate Housing Committee)...either way, not the man I want running this country. He has very little experience in government. All of this is verifiable by anybody with a computer and access to the internet. Should I go on?He's pro partial-birth abortionHe intends to "redistribute" moneys in this country and follows ACORN teachings (he's a socialist)He's been totally non-commital (almost always voting "present") on bills that have come before the Senate...so he can say anything he wants to to get votes and have gullible people believe him. (He has never stood for anything in his political career.)I could go on, but either you see what I'm talking about already, or you never will. The potential exists for major change in our way of life, and none of it for the better.

Even than I have issues with adding hate into the constitution. I don't agree with you that restricting the "word" marriage to Man & Woman as being hate, although it is indirectly used by the religeous right for that purpose.
-
you can no longer hide your fear and hatered behind politics a religion. You live in a land that sings the song of freedom and equality, yet is founded on prejudice and slavery.
Ask a native american what it's like to live in the "land of the free". Ask Martin Luther King and John F Kennedy what it's like to live in the "home of the brave"... oh wait, you can't, they were killed.
This is the 21st century, welcome to the 20th -
15? fuck, try a year ago. the 5 year old is too young, the 15 year old watched the returns with me last night, I tired explaining that he was watching and living history, what it meant that it was possible to elect Obama, that this was the shit that would be in his childrens and grandchildrens history books. I had more thana few celebratorydrinks nad went to bed happy and content for the first time in months, no more worries about mcpain and sarah the dipshit being in charge of my country. This morning I was afe to not put my immigration papers in the mail for canada. Had they won, it would of been sent today. My family, not my wife or kids though, thought I was bullshitting about leaving for canada till they saw the papers all filled out and ready for mailing on november 5th pending election results.I fucking hate the cold, iv been considering a move to Vegas the past 2 months, but was dreading a move to the frosty north. I would of however been forced to see my great brother chango upon arrival and drink till we puked, I will miss that oppertunity, but only till I can take a vacation to the great white north.I have renewed faith in humanity, and I have hope again.

I see your point, but regardless it is adding discrimination into the constitution. By denying a sector of people a civil right in the country of the "free", is simple basic discrimination.Though we were knocked down yet again today, we will stand back up, brush ourselves off and push forward again.

gullible now am I?I have not the time like I used to to come here and argue and debate daily, so Ill let this go for now but first i want you to explain somethign to me."His faith, if he really has any, is Muslim..."he claims he is not, but lets assume that he is, let us assume that your right and he is muslim, so FUCKING WHAT?is this not america and do we not have freedom of religion?you have joined the brainwashed masses that believe muslim=terrorist.Ya know I have a very good friend who is muslim. My kids call him uncle, he is my business partner in a bar and club we are trying to get opened. He moved here from Jordan nearly 20 years ago.Lived in new york, moved nad opened and ran a pizza place in virginia, then left for the US military. He spend 4 years in korea, and 2 more in iraq. he left the military and was offered a job doing translations there for over 200k a year.He works for DoD now, has a secret clearance, currently holds 4 BAs, and 6 masters and is completing by this years end the finals on his doctrines. The fact he isa muslim, does this make him a shitty terrorist? His mother an sister are here now, speak very little english and have spent many nights in my home for dinner. One of his brothers will be here tongiht, another was here a few months ago from Hati where he is part of the UN forces, another jsut left the US for Saudi because of his job as a US Governement Chemist.Does this make me a terrorist by proxy? they are muslim, and I do allow them to eat my food, use my bathroom, fuck I even pick them upat the airport. muslim = terrorist right?and I donated to Obamas fund, its a pain in the ass, I have to confirm identity, even where I work and live, there are total records for all donations, and I donated over 500 dollars in total, confirmation each time I donated and itw as several as I did it in small incriments as I couldnt afford to plop out 500 at one time.I wont even get into ayers or the otehr shit you stated.I will say however that i am happy as a fucking stiff dick stuffed in a wet twat to have him as MY PRESIDENT.I hope he paints the white house black. I volunteered and made calls on his behalf on my fucking phone bill to colorado, I donated money, Iv had many arguments and been in fist fights over redneck idiot bastards who felt compelled to talk shit over my obama magnet on my truck, and I walked tall and fucking proud into the polls last night wearing a this ones voting for 'That one' T-shirt.
-
Chance, I have missed you
-
Time and determination led me to be here to run my mouth over Obamas win
I do occasionally get some time and hit myspace to post horrid shit, don't you read my bulletins eddie?
i know ya look at my pics as you posted comments about my kindergartners first school pic.
that boy is nearly 48 inches tall and 70 lbs, and is 5, count em five fucking years old, well nearly 5 and a half I guess.
I did think of you everytime I heard ohio come up in debates and speculation during the campaign season. and when I heard it go to obama last ngiht I thought of you again.
I live in the redest of the red states and I was flabbergasted to see at one point last night tha in utah with nearly 214 thousand votes counted that Obama was winning by over 5000 votes.
I held no hope for him to win Utah, I jsut hoped that he would do better than other democrats ahd done here in the past, and heexceded my wishes with 34% by the time 100% of votes were tallied. -
LOL.. yeah I have seen your bulletins, I often shake my head and think "Thats good old chance for ya!" LoL.
I was actually a bit worried about Ohio because it really seemed so 50/50. It was nice to see Obama took Ohio by a pretty good margin.
Even thought it funny how Arizona took so long to call the winner, it was always "too close to call". Could you imagine if Obama would have taken Arizona? Talk about a slack to the face that would have been!

Lol I thought the Establishment Clause sets up a wall between the church and the state, so how can they do this? I actually only heard about all this today.

But combine his deference to Muslims and the wave of dhimmitude sweeping the world right now (especially in europe), and we can expect more trouble from the real terrorists in one form or another...either overtly or covertly. Quote:I wont even get into ayers or the otehr shit you stated. The truth is out there for all to see...if you've got the guts to find it and accept it. And before you start going off on me, ask yourself what it is you're afraid of finding if you look? As I said before...you want change, you've got it...just remember you've got to hand it all down to your kids years from now after it's all gone south and all the free hand-outs are gone. Then you can tell them you voted for Obama.

Cause marriage is a legal contract it has nothing to do with faith or church.
-
so how can they do this? It's not the church who has done this directly... If you are a religeous person who has a strong belief, there is nothing preventing you from pusshing some proposition like CA's Prop 8
-
Welcome to America... its rather selective on which laws to follow. /sighAnd sadly the Church has a huge influence on the laws. I'm a Christian, and I feel my beliefs should NEVER be forced on another person... sadly not many feel the same way.

The attempt to put down prop 8 was an attempt at just the opposite.Any time you vote you're running the risk of forcing your opinion on somebody else. The only way to avoid it is not to vote.

The roots of marriage matter not at all it's a secular contract in the eye's of the law.

Originally Posted By: OldFolksThe roots of marriage matter not at all it's a secular contract in the eye's of the law. Apparently the majority in California don't completely agree with you. A few other states as well, now that I think of it. CA was not the only state with such a proposition on the ballot. And isn't what you said kind of like saying your Indian heritage matters not?
