Last week, when I was about to have sex with someone he said that I should put the condom on for him. And I was like, why, aren't you supposed to do that yourself? And he said, no, the girl is supposed to put it on...and I was like really? I've had sex with like 7 or 8 people before him and I don't recall them ever asking me to put it on for them. They just put it on by themselves without asking. This was like the first guy asking me to put it on. Maybe it's different elsewhere from where I am? Whenever you have sex, who puts it on? Really, there's a rule? I never heard of this until he said something about it.

This may be a stupid question, but...

There's no rule. The guy can either put it on himself, or the girl can put it on him. It doesn't really matter, as long as you use one.

I agree With Flea. Plus maybe it turns the guy on to have his partner put the condom on for him.I persnally put it on myself, easier and faster hehe

There's no rule. Most guys put it on themselves, but some find it sexier if the girl does it.

There are no rules.
If ever I wore a condom (I'm married, before I get flamed here) I would want her or him to put it on. It's way hotter that way... I would think.
Putting it on yourself just seems so perfunctory and outside the moment. I think it would kinda take away from the passion for me if my partner is all ready to go.

Thanks for the info guys. I kinda felt dumb when I tried to put it on because I didn't know how to, yet I had sex with more people than him. I just never got asked until like then but it's good to know the reasons behind asking me. :P
