Hey everybody,a few years back when I was just starting to have sex, I got some magnificent advice in this forum on how to become able to pull back the foreskin. I followed that advice and lo and behold - I finally did it and she was none the wizer ;-)Now it's been about six years, but I'm still having a little problem I'm wondering if there's a good solution to; since the foreskin always protects the head of the penis, the head is very tender and sensitive once exposed. This, I believe, leads to my not lasting as long while having sex as I'd like to.Since I'm so aware of the sensitivity, I'm unable to touch the head myself although girls have done so... and I'm thinking that circumcised guys don't have this problem as their heads are constantly exposed to contact and friction with underwear and such.Long story short; does anyone have a good idea for the process of desensitizing the head of the penis where you'd start out with something very delicate?

Foreskin "fixed", but I'm super-sensitive!

Hey Ev!Welcome to AfraidtoAsk!I know exactly where you're coming from. I used A2A to help me with my foreskin issues and along the way found that my head was wayyyyy to sensitive. I've found that as you keep retracting the foreskin (during masturbation/cleaning in the shower) and exposing it it helps in becoming desensitized. One thing that I found that helped me was Vaseline. Use some vaseline and rub it over the head of your penis. It acts as a barrier between your finger and the head and it'll allow you to be able to touch it more. Now as good as this may feel it has a purpose of applying friction to the head and helping it become more bearable to touch. Also, letting water lightly flow over the head in the shower helps as well.I'm sure other people can offer some advice. Good Luck!Ryan.

The above is good advice, but remember everyone to never use latex condoms with vaseline or other oil based lubricants. Additionally oil based lubricants are not as healthy as water based lubricants and can increase the risk of infection in the vagina.
But for personal work there is hardly a better substitute

you can try to masterbate dry or get a dry HJ. becareful but i would think dry friction contact would desensitize it a bit

What method did you use and how long did it take?"... the head is very tender and sensitive once exposed. This, I believe, leads to my not lasting as long while having sex as I'd like to. As the glans is an internal organ, it prefers to be "touched" only by a sopping wet vagina. If anyone touches it with hands and fingers ... they need somehow to duplicate that circumstance. The mouth at least is moist, but a good lube applied to hands might be worth the expense, if you really want someone to touch your glans. Otherwise manipulate the outer shaft skin and outer foreskin, only, so that dry fingers don't touch the glans. An intact friend of mine always leaves his glans covered, particularly while masturbating. His wife occasionally sticks her tongue beneath his foreskin, then swirls it around his glans. He claims that this gives him sensations which almost defy reason. As for premature ejaculation, reducing sensitivity seems to be to be counterproductive I believe the problem lies elsewhere. Perhaps you wait too long between sessions. Perhaps you might enjoy multiple sessions during any one evening. That, I know from personal experience, is incredibly erotic ... having intercourse 2,3, 4 times in one night. Try that and I'll bet it will take you increasingly longer to ejaculate. For the same reason some men afflicted with premature ejaculation will masturbate at some time before having intercourse ... but I wouldn't recommend that procedure unless your time together is limited. Better to share multiple sessions of intercourse.Try some of these things, and let us know how it turns out.
