This chart shows the "width" of breasts. measuring accross the fullest part from the under arm to the breast bone.I'm just curious as to how accurate this chart is.

"...and i was like did this annonymous busted female read my post rip her shirt off and take the measurements, right then and there."Your funny... I doubt that was the case.I bet albeitmayself knows her size to get a proper fit and not cause some random guy asked her......of course if I asked her it would be a different story...right Natasha... evil grin

The only reason, I assumed she "ripped" her shirt off...is that's the only time I've seen cup size measured in that fashion. Usually it's the distance around the fullest part of the bust, minus (the distance around the rib cage + 5 or 4). Refering to miss 36C here...she would gotten a rib measurement of 31 or 32 added 5 or 4 gotten 36, then had a round the breast measurement of 39. 39 - 35 = 3 and C is the third letter of the alphabet (cpt obvious).
btw C cup stands for can't complain.

How do you usually measure? I know I'm a 32dd currently but I don't think I can tell what's the "biggest" part when measuring... which I've tried but failed. But it would help me so much for finding shirts that look decent and especially for these great new sports bras they came out with that would seriously help me in soccer.

I've found the measurements extremely accurate. Though me and the gf have taken up measuring each breast individually and comparing it to a chart.32" band: 6" = A cup; 6 1/2" = Full A32" band: 7" = B cup; 7 1/2" = Full B32" band: 8" = C cup; 8 1/2" = Full C32" band: 9" = D cup; 9 1/2" = Full D34" band: 6 1/2" = A cup; 7" = Full A34" band: 7 1/2" = B cup; 8" = Full B34" band: 8 1/2" = C cup; 9" = Full C34" band: 9 1/2" = D cup; 10" = Full D36" band: 7" = A cup; 7 1/2" = Full A36" band: 8" = B cup; 8 1/2" = Full B36" band: 9" = C cup; 9 1/2" = Full C36" band: 10" = D cup; 10 1/2" = Full D38" band: 9 1/2" = C cup38" band: 10 1/2" = D cupWe've personally found closer results using the above than the more traditional method. But other people I've talked to like the regular reliable method. Whatever works for you but I always tell people to try both to see if you get different answers For us both methods were pretty much identical except for when she was smaller busted. Then the above method worked better.
