Okay.. Last time I drank was in April and that was 2 shots of vodka.. Before April last time I had drank was prob 8++ months.. My question to someone who has been drunk is... Say you got drunk at like 11.. How long does it last? Are you safe to drive in 10 minutes? hour? Two hour? How long tell no one notices you are or were drunk? Don't tell me to go try it and see, I dont drink really. Once in a while and thats it. Last time I got drunk was over 2 years ago.. So anyone who has been drunk...
-
How long are you drunk?
-
The usual, very rough, approximation is that your body gets rid of one standard drink (eg a 7 oz glass of beer, or a wineglass of wine, or an ounce of spirits) per hour. It's very easy to go to bed drunk and wake up still drunk.
-
LOL.. Been there. Done that.
-
I know the one time I got drunk.. I did it about 7:30-8:00am.. I think by 10:30am, I was normal. But I was at school, so I was busy all day. Thats the first time and last time I did it. I drank about 3/4 of a water bottle of vodka, by myself, straight.
-
Wow you live a screwed up life, plus you brag about it! You say you smoke cigerets, smoke weed, and now you're bragging that you drank 3/4 of a bottle of vodka, wow!
-
I'm not bragging, stating what I do. So go fuck yourself.. I'm tired of the attacks on here..
-
If you don't want to be "attacked", then don't give someone the reason to!

Keep it clean and respectful There will be no flaming of any kind, joking around is fine, but slamming others just for your own amusement will not be tolerated. We will not tolerate sexual harassment, if you make casual innuendo and the person you say it to is fine with it, fine, if not, you had better stop immediately. Debating is fine, insulting is not. Keep debates ON topic and DO NOT insult any member.

People often feel they have sobered up after being drunk, when they are still pretty drunk, just less drunk than before.
-
People become sober at different speeds, although Ineligable's statement about average rates is a pretty good guide. I would play it safe with respect to driving. Give your self some extra time, or get a ride from someone else. Anyway, I might do grab a few drinks right now; I'll keep track of my recovery time
-
LOL.. Yeah some real research I don't plan to start drinking anytime soon, I was just curious. I'm totally against driving while drunk... Anyways TRY to keep track of your time
-
I read somewhere a while ago that the only reason you get hung over is because you're dehydrated so you should just drink lots of water then you won't get hung over?? Is that true?
-
water helps, but it's not the cure
-
So, what causes the 'drunkness' (The stumbling and all that) Is it dehydration? or the chemical in the alcohol?
-
the alcohol
-
not only the alcohol, but other chemicals in the drink. Dark drinks like beer and whiskey give you a bad hangover if you drink lots. Vodka tends not to be so bad. Mixing drinks, aside from making you feel ill, often gives you a worse hangover. Of course, the best way to avoid hangovers is to stay drunk! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
-
umm it's the alcohol
-
In reply to: the best way to avoid hangovers is to stay drunk Wouldn't the best way to be not to drink at all
-
when I'm "buzzin" it tends to slowly wear away after a few hours. When I'm wasted, I generally pass out & then wake up feelin a lil better but still dizzy.
-
Has anyone here noticed that if you have a drink durring a hangover it really helps?
