So im bored and tired from MMA and now im doing my routine "Post random discussions" session of my day. So todays subject is "best vocal pair". Who do you think went perfectly together as vocalist? Aka lead singer and back up singer in a band. For example Serj Tankian and Daren Malakian from System of a Down could be an answer.Mine would have to be from one of my favorite bands ever Alice in Chains.Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrellfeel free to post videos so we can agree or disagree whether or not they are the best or atleast good! Live Version - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs6RefV1td4Studio Version - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3FnQMSD4ZgI also think they are better live than in studio, and one of the most underrated bands of the 90's.

Yep...can't beat those two. Don't know if they'll ever be beat...most folks are too self-absorbed these days to consider sharing the spotlight with somebody else. Those couple are great videos, Rad. Those snippets from "The Graduate" were pieced together quite nicely on the second one.

Oh my god, Step! Not knowing who Simon & Garfunkel are, is like not knowing who Ludwig Schnorr von Carolsfeld & Malvina Garrigues are. I mean really come on.
-
They were Wagnerian opera singers around the 1860s. Ludwig was one of the few Wagner thought could adequately preform his works. Ludwig and Malvina were husband and wife and preformed together in the opera Tristan and Isolde. They were the superstars of their time... I guess.Don't ask how I know this. I have no idea. It's just one in million useless factoids that occasionally gets flushed out my head and onto the screen.

you can also check out a few oldie-mouldie man and woman duosNancy Sinatra or Lee HazlewoodSunny and Cher

Ooops! Here you are saying you prefer ''Rock/Metal'' and I give ya classical! In a different direction though... I've always liked the two guys who sing in the group 'Extreme' - I think it's best demonstrated in More Than Words, other songs too, but I couldn't find them on youtube. Also, I like the girl (Lisa Hannigan?) who used to sing the backing vocals with Damien Rice's songs, I don't think she does anymore though...The Blower's Daughter, the girl comes in at 3.25, but don't skip .
