From as long as I can remember, I've always had a sightly high hairline. The corners were pretty noticeable, but lately I've been depressed and stressed out. I just turned twenty, but am wondering if I may have started to have a receding hairline. here are some pictures:Leftside closeup rightside closeup Leftside Front view Symptons that came about from being like this were breakouts of pimples, however they've just gone away. That's why my face looks scarred now. It was totally clear last September. Thanks for looking!

Receeding hairlines is not something we look forward to as we mature. However, it's also not something we can do anything about. Yours really doesn't look that bad. What about your father and grandfathers?

It is possible for hair to recede at your age, if you have the male pattern baldness gene, but it rather looks like you have a widow's peak (in men, occasionally called a widower's peak).

You fucking baby, get over it! there is not a fucking thing you can do about it aside from a rug, or if your luckya transplant. My shits been getting thin for many a year, one day Ill look like fucking riff raff of rocky horror picture show fame, not a thing to be done.My brother was shiny ass bald when he got out of high school, the oldest was thinning but still had hair and is now shiny by choice, he waxes that shit and shaves it daily to keep it smooth, some men like bald, some do not, pick a side, have a smoke, do something or do nothing.I am doing nothing and my forehead just keeps getting bigger. Fuck it.

I think it would be neat to see picture of you with a comb-over.

my comb over would go from back to front I keep my hair long, not just one side so it can get pushed around and hair sprayed down to cover the top and look like an stove top lifting when the wind blows.

I know you don't mean harm by your post. The reason I posted this is because I recently have been going through some stressful and despressing issues involving family. Male Pattern baldness doesn't seem to run in my family so early so I was curious if it is from stress. I have noticed more white hairs, but that runs in my family kind of early on. I'm sorry if I offended you.

Yes, I know I have a widow's peak. Sometimes I hate it, and sometimes it's good. I always thought the widow's peak was just a triangluar patch of hair that is in front of your hairline.

My father's hair is thinning a lot, but that's after he turned 55. His father's hair, my grandfather, didn't go ccmpletely bald, but it's really thin. My mother's father kept most of his hair. The only thing that seems to start early is white hairs. My sister and I started to get them in high school. My one uncle had a full head of white hairs after he was probably thirty.

If you have been under an abnormal amount of stress recently, you may be just oversensitive to changes in your hair and elsewhere. The best look at your future is probably a look back at your ancestors. Relax, though, and accept that which you can not change. At least take that stress off yourself.

offended me? fuck son, it takes alot more than that to offend me.
