hey, something really weird is happening to me this week.
i'm an eighteen year old, approaching ninteen.
i've had sex with a few girls and have done stuff with other girls too, no problems really. i've masterbated for a fair few years too, again no problems.
however, this week something weird has happenened and i have no idea what the hell it could be. my sex drive is at an all time low, i find it hard to get an erection and my entire approach on life has been effected.
i have been known to be a worrier and paranoia isn't new to me and this doesn't help. i'm at the stage now where i feel depressed as i worry if this weird happening does not shift then i won't be able to satisfy another girl, have a relationshi[ in the future or ever worse, i won't ever have kids.
what the hell is happening to me?
please help!

Unless you plan on having kids 5 minutes after you wrote this, I'm sure that'll happen. What all did you do/see this week? Perhaps something you did you thought nothing of it, but it's affecting your body or psyche.Besides, slumps in sex drive are pretty normal, for anyone.

I agree with LuvMyCats. It's quite common to have times when your libido is low, just as it is common to have times when you feel especially horny. Hormone levels don't stay constant.
You can expect to be back to normal within two weeks.

Just because it doesn't usually last longer than two weeks. But the stress is probably part of the reason. Stress does reduce sex drive, and especially if it makes you lose sleep.
-
From personal experience your libido will be back and probably stronger and more annoying than ever.
-
What everybody else said. It's just a phase of low horniness. Don't worry to much about it. Use the time doing other things and kinda forget about it for awhile and before you know it shit 'll be back to normal and then some.

thanks for your help and advice guys, really appreciate it.
thought i'd update. my depression has eased a little, i have masterbated two or three times but it still wasn't the same as it was not too long ago. i find myself constantly trying to get erect during my day just to see if i can because i'm constantly worrying that i wont be able to when it matters.
i'll look at porn, lay in bed and look at other girls and more often that not i'm do not get the same reaction and feeling as i used to the other week. hope this shifts sooner rather than later.

Originally Posted By: kobe365i find myself constantly trying to get erect during my day just to see if i can Don't do that. It'll happen when it happens. If you will it, then you keep stressing about it, which doesn't help at all.It will shift, hormones do that, they're finicky little buggers. Don't worry. When it matters, you will, your body was instinctively built for that.

That's probably about the worst thing you could do. The more you focus on it the more of problem your going to create in your head. -
Better relax yourself and dont think about it too much. Give yourself some time, everything will be alright.
-
still find myself thinking about the 'buts' and 'what ifs', however thats just the kind of person i am. it isn't as bad as it once was last week but i cannot help worrying, i'm pretty sure this is a physcological problem however, i have noticed that my balls do not hang as low as they once did, could this be the reason for what is going on at the moment?
-
I am also a person who thinks about buts and ifs a lot........when I wanna stop worrying about something I indulge my self in some hobby or learn something new so I can put the worry out of my mind. It helps me a lot and makes me feel better.

It could simply be due to colder weather; however stress also causes them to be pulled up, and perhaps that's the reason.
