Is there anyway to move e-mails out of Outlook and to a job file? Also, have a look at the screen shot I have here and you can see the message I'm getting. I can't send or receive anymore until I get this file cleared out the problem is the path given doesn't exist on my machine. Screen Shot

I seem to remember that I just moved email folders out of outlook and into my documents before though that was a while ago. I've never known outlook to have a storage limmit
-
Fucking amazing!it was just last week I taught you to take a SSand now its helping you.You are however fuckedEither delete them, or upgrade to 2003 or better.Of course you COULD burn them to a CD, or if you have the room on the HDD create a new file on the desktop, then move them all there.
-
It is 2003, how do I burn them or move them? It won't let me do either.
-
What does the damn note mean, that's shown?
-
well now your fucked as I do not use outlook, I can not help. I knew the first one cause I texted Julz, but I can be of no aid from here out.
-
try the export function to move the folder to another location?
-
I have no export option. I can move a folder but only within the file structure in Outlook.
-
Have you tried the Archive option?
-
Yes, I've auto archived and still no improvement. Do you know what the message I'm getting in the screen shot means?
-
You can also create a new email database..File > Data File Management > Add Choose Outlook (.pst)Then move your old stuff to this new data file.. It will show as a new subfolder on your navigation screen on the left
-
I'm not sure but it looks like you've maxed out the capacity of your mailbox... Do you store a lot of large attachments??
How about clearing out your old "Sent" files?
-
I'm sure you can fix this by creating a new Data Folder
-
We aren't allowed to delete old "sent" stuff and yes I send out a lot of huge attachments.
-
I'll give it a try.
-
The attachments are killing you then..You'll need to go the route of what I suggested, use some data/project management and move old projects into this "Storage" folder.

I haven't gotten it to work yet but I think, following what you say, I'm on the right track... I'm just not a computer guy. I didn't even know how to take a screen shot till Chance told me just a couple of weeks ago.
That being said. I PDF a lot of drawing and the files come out huge usually 3 MEG or better. I know there's a way to have smaller files sizes because when people send drawing to us they aren't as big, maybe 300 to 600k. Does anyone know a way to easily fix this? -
Do you use Adobe Acrobat?
If so, from the Menu Bar click ... Document > Reduce File Size
-
I haven't gotten it to work yet but I think, following what you say, I'm on the right track... Were you able to create the new folder? If you don't see "Data File Management" under the File menu, you need to click on the double arrow to open the full menu.

The archive things is in the process of doing something. I did the Adobe Acrobat "reduce file size" and it actually increased instead of going down. It went from 3,118kb to 3,121kb. I set to the latest version on acrobat available as it suggested, any ideas?
