I go to an all boys school, but i'am forced to move schools because of my behavior. Now i have to go to another other school.
Well, I am just really afraid of change and how im supposed to start over. How should i act in the first day of school? I got no social problems, i mean i get along really nicely with the other guys. But when im around girls, I begin to act differently. I get really quiet and can't seem to look at girls in the eye. Can you guys say somthing to boost my confidence

First Days of School?

Why exactly are you having to change schools? Perhaps this answer will help you figure out what not to do at the new school

Well the majority of guys behave differently around girls than they do around guys. So don't worry about why your acting different around them. But the confidence thing is the hard part. It's all about self believe, just you believing that you can acomplish your goal. Being it climbing a mountain or talking to a girl. One thing for sure is as you grow older your confidence decreases so use it while you can.

I think it's a mistake to try to be too different from what you naturally are. It becomes too difficult to keep up, and probably does not give as good an impression as your real self. You are good enough as you are! Just try to be pleasant to both boys and girls. Don't try to pick the girls up - if you don't expect too much, you won't get so nervous with them, and you'll find they tend to come to you.

I think you stay fundamentally about the same, but you get more confidence in things you have gained experience in. However, you also get a stronger sense of how things can go wrong, so you tend to become more cautious, often too cautious - this may be what Da Hawk is thinking of.

Roc what i mean is at a younger age people hopefully haven't really encountered many confidence knocking events. Whereas when you grow older, partners may leave or cheat on you. Your friends might betray you, things like that all affect our confidence in a bad way. So as you get older you have lower confidence, because you have had more bad experiences.I know you disagree Roc but this is just my opinion and i believe there is some logic behind it.Hawk
