To start off, I'll break this down so it may be easier for you guys and girls to help me out. About me, I'm 19 years old, and an Americanized Chinese girl.I have been with my boyfriend for four years since junior year of high school. We've done everything a couple could do, and more. He's a sweetheart, a bit immature like me but nonetheless the most decent guy I have found. However, as we've been together for four years, I have grown a bit unattracted to him, sexually. Sometimes when we do have sex, I can't help but fantasize about being in a different situation or with another...guy. During the beginning of my fall semester at a community college. I met a white guy, yes I will refer to him as such. He was the jock type of guy back in high school: 6ft 2in, pretty buff and is that blue-eyed blonde hair guy. Not quite my type. I was the nerdy, hanging out with latinas and doing a lot of stuff that was getting me in trouble kind of girl back in High School. He's quite uhm persistant in pursuing me. I never flirted with him, quite honestly, I attempted to be as borish as I could around him. But he asked for my phone number, approached me to hang out together. I don't understand why he is interested in me? To be honest, I'm flattered a very handsome young guy would be interested in a girl like me. He knows I have a boyfriend but he still flirts with me. I sit right next to him in my class, and everytime my teacher mentions something asian or funny, he'd turn to me and laugh. Staring a bit too long and doing it too frequently. Then we went on a school field trip to the zoo together. He wanted to get to know me a bit better. During the entire zoo trip he just wanted to be alone with me. even when there were much more beautiful girls talking, flirting with him, he'd tug on my jacket to go somewhere a bit more isolated. Then we went to study together for a final. As soon as I enter his house, he offers me some nice scotch. I'm not a drinker, he knows so but he wanted me to relax a bit. I did relax a bit after a small glassful of Benevolent scotch. I actually got to know him quite well. He asked if I was a virgin, which I thought was none of his business, but eventually told him because..well he told me his side of his story. I felt like he was telling me his whole life story, the worse and the best. But I felt a lot closer to him. Anyways, then we went to the pool hall, I lost a bet and now we have to meet this friday to eat some dinner/breakfast together. I do like him. I'm not quite sure if I like him, or the idea of him. Anyways I already have a boyfriend, and he knows but I feel like he is flirting with me still. makes me question what type of guy he is. He's respectful around me and such. But I am not quite sure how to handle this. I wish I could have both, I'm emotionally attached to my bf, but my bf doesn't seem to be improving his life at all. He's 20 years old but does not have his Driver's license nor a permit yet. He hasn't begun college yet, I fear he may be stuck working for $10/an hour. The white guy though, he's related to this really popular girl back in my school. He's an ex-mormon, and well he's a really positive nice guy but I don't see too much commonality between us. Well I guess, my question is, should I try a relationship with the white guy and leave my bf for him...? Or stay with my bf, and hope to improve us? OR..be single since men are a headache and I should focus on school anyways?

White guy or filipino bf? Long and detailed.

Quote:He knows I have a boyfriend but he still flirts with me.Surely a warning? If he has you as a gf will he flirt with other girls? Quote:I don't see too much commonality between usIf there isn't much commonality, what will keep you together after the novelty of a jock bf has worn off?To me this looks more like a masterful seduction than a romance, though perhaps I am too cynical.

Something smells funny…. Quote:….idea of him. You like the flirting and his charm - witch could/will leave as soon as he gets what he wants. @ inliguble Quote:To me this looks more like a masterful seduction than a romance, though perhaps I am too cynical. You’ve heard me talk about Ryan too much. lol - kidding aside this guy sounds a bet like him (minus the blond hair and blue eyes haha.)

Hmm, well I may have been caught up with the whole flirting and new attention from a guy thing. I guess I'll see what happens after the semester. If we don't keep in contact then ok, if we still manage to talk and be friends then I guess we'll start off as friends.
Thanks guys for helping. I'll watch my back on this guy and see whats up.
