so, about two weeks ago I was on my period, and it was the 3rd day into it. I had sex with my partner and the condom broke. We didnt know until after. but my period stopped. I didnt get it for the last few days. Which is a concern to me because I've had sex on my period before(using a condom) and its never made my period stop.More importantly, I've drank twice since then, both times I got sick to my stomach the following morning and actually threw up(which never happens, and I drank less then what I usually would). for the most accurate pregnancy test, when should I go? Soon, or wait until I actually miss my next period?

Pregnant?!

To get pregnant while on your period would require the sperm to stay around and alive until your next ovulation. That would usually be two weeks later - sperm wouldn't live that long -, but it could be considerably earlier for some people. However, while you are actually having your period your uterus lining is not in a fit state to receive an embryo, so there wouldn't be any point in your body's ovulating at that time, and you couldn't get pregnant straight away. I therefore think it was just a coincidence that your period stopped immediately (though perhaps good orgasms could finish the job more quickly), and you are unlikely to be pregnant.
I think you would have to wait until the next missed period for a test to be reliable.

The only time my wife and I would have unprotected sex was when she had her period because she hated taking birth control pills (and we're 50 and 53 now so not many other reliable options in our day) and she never got pregnant. But other women would tell her all the time that she shouldn't rely on that method and that she could still get pregnant but she never did. Can only share our experience tho. get a test yet?

it's not impossible to become pregnant during your period but is is unlikely.
Many of the modern pregnancy test do work quite early so that's probably your best bet of getting an answer.
I hope things work out for you! let us know
