so recently I noticed some small bumps on the corona of my penis head (although this does not necessarily mean they have not been there longer as I am uncertain as to whether or not I remember them). they are skin colored (unless the skin is stretched, in which case they turn white) incredibly small (probably less than 1mm in diameter, only slightly larger in length) and are in more or less in rows in various spots across the rim of the tip. There is no itching, swelling, burning, redness pain or anything else like that, nor do they seem to be filled with anything, fluid, pus or otherwise. They also seem to look identical to some of the pictures of ppp I could find on the internet. I am also 20 years old and recently circumsized, if that makes any difference.as to my sexual history I have had sex with one person, who I am like 99% certain was clean, and we used a condom for vaginal sex, but not oral.long story short, since I am a generally paranoid and anxious person I am kind of worried about them, and while I do understand that a trip to my doctor would be the best idea I would kind of hate to waste all that time and money for something that isn't anything to worry about. Basically I want to know if there is anything else they can be and/or whether or not I should be worried.http://i51.tinypic.com/8wgsp5.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/35/Pearly_Penile_Papules.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d2/Pearly_Penile_Papules_Before_Treatment_Front.jpgthe first is a picture of me of the bumps on one side of my penis, as I was unable to get a good picture of the other side, although it is basically the same just a bit more scattered, while the second and third pictures are a picture from google images and seem to be pretty good approximations of what they looks like (although they are far less numerous than in the third picture).any insight would be much appreciated.

Pearly penile papules?
-
There is absolutly nothing to worry about. They are not harmful and not uncommon. You can't do anything to make them go away except having some sort of surgery to remove them.
-
great, thanks.so you do think they are ppp then?
-
Well your pic isn't very good, but if you say it looks like the other two, then yes.

yeah, sorry about that. I don't have a real camera so I was forced to use my phone. it's basically a smaller version of the first google image. but I'll try to get a better one up.

PPP is they are not a symptom of an STD. There is really no known reason why the bumps form, but it has nothing to do with sexual activity or personal hygiene. If you are experiencing discharge or see a yellowish-white color, you probably have a clogged gland or sebaceous cyst instead.

Hey Fellas,So I've had PPP since around 15 or 16 years old. They appeared very quickly over the course of a couple of months back then and have since stuck around, neither increasing or decreasing in number. I'm 23 now, so I'm pretty familiar with all the anxiety and embarrassing aspects associated with the condition. Some time ago I became very tired of sitting on the sidelines at the bars and passing all the prospective women in my life by due to my fear of revealing the PPPs. So I started looking for home remedies.Doctors (suck it up and go to one) will most likely tell you that the CO2 laser surgery is the only option. I've heard it really does work indefinitely. However, I've been finding quick success within only a week by simply using Tea Tree Oil. I apply it 3x a day with equal intervals of time in between (5 or 6 hours). Just within the past week, I'm seeing them decrease in size, and almost completely disappear on the right side. Was pretty skeptical at first but around Day 3 the peeling around the applied area started and they were much more "frail" and "skinny" everyday since. As I said, on the right side, they're completely gone, so something really wonderful is going on.The key is definitely to keep with the regular applications. Try not to miss one, shorten the interval time in between if you do.Best.

Tea tree oil is interesting stuff and has several medicinal uses. Discovered by the Australian aborigines, it has been used for dandruff, and as anti-fungal and antiseptic topical preparations. How did you decide to use it for your PPP?
