At first I thought it was just a pimple and because of where it is I didn't really want to try to pop it but i've had it probably at least a month now and it hasn't really seemed to go away on its own. My ex-gf offered to look at it because I was concerned, and yeah that was a bit awkward, but she seems to think that it doesn't look like a pimple because whatever it is seems to be all under the skin not protruding really (at least that's what she said) More awkward she starting asking me if I had been with anyone since her because she knows she is clean and yeah, I have been. The last girl I was with did give me a few blowjobs and hangjobs, but nothing more than that (I know there are potential risks) Now I'm not really on speaking terms with said ex, but i was not aware of any STD type shit. She doesn't really seem the type to have slept around a lot but who knows. My ex who looked at it seems to think I should have it looked at by a doctor sooner than later, as well as a couple cists I have. I was just wondering if any of you guys here might be able to ease my mind a bit or at least help me figure out what it might be.. It kinda feels like something no bigger than a popcorn kernal or something and it's not solid but it's not just mushy either, idk. If i can provide any other details to help diagnose please tell me.

A bump of some sort on my shaft...slightly worried

If it's on the shaft and under the skin.. It could be just a clogged pore.

Any way that I can try to determine that? What's the best way to get rid of those? Somebody recommended that I put some Bacitracin on whatever it might be so I'm trying that at the moment.

If it's a clogged pore Bacitracin won't make any difference. When a sebaceous gland pore gets clogged (most often with dead skin cells), the sebum builds up and produces a sebaceous cyst, which feels like a lump under the surface of the skin, just as you describe. There's nothing much you can do about them. Usually they will go down by themselves over about two months. Don't try to lance it because you'll just end up getting it infected.
