I never see this symptom mentioned on commercials or on back of medication. I have it pretty bad during my period. It feels like my insides are moving around, especially after I drink something. Sometimes it's so bad I can't move around a lot. It's like being on a boat or in a car, but I never get nauseous during any of those events. I'm also sensitive to smells too, everything thing (even smells I like) make me sick to my stomach. I feel like I might throw up, but I know I don't have too. It's just that sick, queasy feeling. Is there any medication that specifically treats nausea during menstruation? I've taken things like Alka-Seltzer and Pepto Bismol, but that didn't work in the past. I need something that will work (I've heard of tea), and I can get on with my day.
Nausea and Menstruation
The sensitivity to smells makes it sound very like morning sickness, which is usually ascribed to changes in hormone levels. Ginger (in any form, including tea) is an old folk remedy for morning sickness - it might be worth trying.
I'll have to try that, thanks.
